Astronaut Leland Devon Melvin in the years 2008 - 2009 (missions STS 122 and STS 129) took two shuttle flights , Atlantis' and spent a total of 23 days in the universe. In 2011 he retired and started working at NASA headquarters in Washington. Recently, Melvin met with a popular ufologist Scott Waring, who asked him two questions:

"What do you think about the possibility of rational extraterrestrial life in our solar system? Have you ever seen a UFO? ”

In reply, Melvin said that during his Atlantis shuttle flight with colleague Randy Breznik saw something unusual. The shuttle was already in orbit around Earth.
