Last Sunday, 19. January, we were able to see an additional post on children's vaccinations on the Czech TV channel 168. This time it was an attempt to "impartially" assess the situation. As for the past, just about the "prelude" for another vaccination campaign that looks impartially, we will still hear.

Although the report ends with the words of the mother of the "counterrevolutionary", refusing to vaccinate their children with the risk of "kidnapping" and wanting for their children the best, otherwise the contribution is very carefully "danced among the pharmaceutical eggs." This brave physician publishes the experience of vaccination - both her and her patients - but also clearly explains why the basic stones of vaccination ideology are just a myth.

In her words, "If we are watching vaccination debates, there is a lot of emotion and ideology, but few facts. (…) Vaccine supporters merely reject the counterparty's arguments that this is not true. Sometimes they say and write real nonsense. ”

Lots of emotions and ideology

I am a general practitioner for adults with about 15 years of practice, I practice homeopathy, I deal with other methods of alternative medicine. I do not own any official paper to declare me a vaccine specialist. I'm "just" a practitioner who sees her patients daily and is interested in being healthy. I have not forgotten Hippocrates' oath - not to do harm - and I feel it is my moral duty to recommend only a treatment that I would be willing to take alone. I feel empowered to publicly communicate my opinion, which I have worked through during my years of practice and homeopathy, during study of various sources of vaccination and infectious diseases, observation of the development of my children and the treatment of pediatric homeopathic patients.

We live in a free country where everyone has the right to express his or her opinion, I use my right. The following text reflects the results of my studies and the personal understanding and interpretation of the facts I have received. Every reader can find the same facts and make their own views on them.

Vaccination is a controversial topic, there are two unbearable camps of supporters and opponents, and somewhere in the middle of them, most people are busy. They get opposing opinions, listen to one invective after another, and if they do not have the ability to surf the Internet and read most English-written texts, they are reliant on local resources. Unfortunately, the local (I mean Czech and Slovak) sources of information are very unbalanced.

Vaccination as a sacred cow

On the one hand there is official medicine stating that vaccination is beneficial, safe and necessary for the well being of the whole. Except for the long-term adverse effects of vaccination. Studies with efficacy and safety studies. A dreadful return of epidemics like in the old days, every unfortunate case of the deceased's infant is reported to a black cough or diphtheria. In addition, official medicine is covered by valid legislation imposing vaccination obligations and sanctions for non-compliance.

On the other hand, laity, parents, healers, and civic associations are in a position to ventilate their negative opinion about vaccination, ranging from mild encouragement to prudence to irreconcilable disagreement. This party usually only claims that vaccination is harmful, bringing into association illnesses such as allergies, autoimmune disorders, hyperactivity, autism, etc. without a mechanism to explain the pathogenesis of these diseases. The party of opponents or people just reserved is denounced by official medicine that does not want to discuss them, they do not talk about their arguments at a substantive level.

I argue that vaccination is the sacred cow of modern medicine. Its effectiveness and usefulness is an axiom that is not debated. Most doctors really believe that they do a good thing by vaccinating. Side effects, if not truly acute and dramatic, are not recognized because physicians lack a framework for thinking and tools to recognize them. Therefore, they truly believe that vaccination is safe. They believe that it has eradicated diseases, that they protect against them, that so-called herd immunity is needed, ie high immunization, and they are really worried that if the reluctance to vaccinate spreads, it will endanger it. the rest of the population. Notice, in the preceding sentences, I wrote "believe." Because she's really mostly just faith. I also shared it, but I found that it was based on the wrong foundations.

When we look at the debate about vaccination, there are plenty of emotions and ideologies, but few facts. It reminds me of religious debates of believers in different gods. It is really interesting, because in these debates it is almost never a rational, scientific discussion of the facts, but about the overpowering of whoever will assert his faith more. Vaccine advocates only reject the counterparty's arguments that it is not true. Sometimes they say (and write) real nonsense.

Unfairness by the authorities

Recently I have read some article MUDr. Hany Cabrnoch, Chairwoman of the Society of Pediatric Medicine and Vice-President of the Vaccine Society, about vaccination. At the very beginning, she praised the merit of vaccination to eradicate the disease and, among other things, named cholera and morphology, against which she had never been waiting for us! I can not explain it. It can not be explained by ignorance, such mistakes should not be made. In my opinion, I have just expressed a deeply belligerent belief that is so deeply laid down that he is not even thinking about it, let alone doubting, and thinks that vaccination is the only factor in why we do not have epidemics of infectious diseases like in the Middle Ages.

In the middle of it all are parents of children who try to best care for their health, and with access to the Internet they get to information that is often frightened and they do not know what to do with them. Reasonable discussions with a pediatrician will only take place in rare cases, and ultimately their decision is rather driven by how many inconvenience the authorities are willing to tolerate than the best interest of their child.

Why do doctors so reluctant to challenge vaccination?

I want to summarize all the basic information about vaccination, explain why doctors are so reluctant to challenge vaccination, why they do not see things, offer a mechanism that can harm the vaccination, show how to identify children at risk and especially offer those who have suffered some damage, hope for healing.

I'm more interested in vaccination than 10 years. It started with my younger son, a 15-year-old who responded to the first vaccination with Alditepera (DTP vaccine containing mercury; diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis - ed. Ed.). He screamed with high screams, which I learned later that he was called an encephalitic scream, had a fever, swollen, and a red half of his buttocks into which he had been vaccinated. At that time, I was freshly after attestation, and I had no idea in the dream that vaccination could do that. Neither did the baby doctor alert me. I didn't think to read the leaflet at all. I simply and as many other parents brought my three-month-old child confidently to vaccination.

The son's response to the vaccination

My son's reaction lasted three days. After her fading, he stopped sleeping, often waking up, always crying, with wide eyes and clenched hands screaming and screaming. He also became more restless, tearful, at an infant age he was extremely aggressive and hyperactive. Of course he received another DTP vaccination, so-called fractionated, divided into two doses, but he received them. Today I know that when he responded so wildly to the first dose, he should no longer be vaccinated with this vaccine. I recently took my son as his doctor and had the opportunity to look into his card. The record reads: mother reports febrile reaction, buttock swelling, disappeared. That's what the pediatrician wrote the next day I called her. Not a word about the unusual weeping I reported, or a word that she would report the reaction to SUKL, which was her duty.

I write this whole story to see that doctors do not know anything. I did not know, did not know, they did not teach me anything. Undesirable reactions are hardly reported at all, so official medicine can be said to be rare.

I started to study homeopathy and for the first time I started to learn that the vaccination might not be so great and that it could even cause a great deal of trouble. My son was no longer re-vaccinated with Trivivac (so called MMR vaccine, ie against measles, mumps and rubella - note red.), In 5 years I refused to re-booster DTP. At that time he only received tetanus (the same dose as an adult!) Because I had no idea that the problem was mercury, not just the pertussis vaccine (pertussis = black cough). After the tetanus was again about two weeks "to kill". I will not describe my whole journey, I will present to you its results.
