Jaroslav Dušek you talk in your video again with Te Kahou - One of the last guardians of the Maori tradition of pregnancy and obstetrics.

Who is Te Kaha?

Together with his wife, they live on the island of Aotearoa (New Zealand), they have three children who all happily gave away the traditional way of Haputanga. They live self-sufficient, grow their food, have their own source of energy, bathe daily in the river they consider their ancestor, just like the earth or the sky.

What is Haputanga

HAPUTANGA is the natural way in which a man expresses in a tangible way the love and support of his pregnant partner while at the same time creating a deep relationship with his unborn child. According to the Maori tradition, the best midwife is her husband, who regularly practices ORIORI (traditional birthing art) in conjunction with a specific kind of massage. Everyone can learn and practice Haputang, a great proof of this is the woman of Te Kahy, who comes from Scotland.

Te Kaha himself says he is not coming to teach us something new, but it helps us to recreate the ancient knowledge that our ancient ancestors practiced everywhere in the world, and which only fell into oblivion. Te Kaha works daily with the traditional stone POUNAM (jade) - carving cult objects, jade knife for medicinal herbs and others; and helps pregnant couples.
