Principle No.5: Live for some higher principle
We all hear the voice inside. On the one hand, we are forced to be better and more efficient, the school, the employer, the world ... but something within us asks if we are on the right path, whether we are doing what we were born for, whether we are fulfilling our spiritual mission. We are really a part of the world where only the best and the strongest will survive, or we are sparks Creative forces, whose essential nature is give a love, to find a balance for all parts of creation?

Two faces of mankind
Religion and philosophy have long sought to define the relationship between the two opposing features of mankind: the selfish already and an attitude that favors the interest of others in their own. According to one, all morality is based on selfishness. We need to be freed from bondage egocentrism and they gave up their beliefs, that our good is based on one's loss.

If we do a good deed, then we are happy. This act suggests a selfish motive. So if we are kind, we are no more virtuous than if we were cruel. We do both for the pleasant feeling that the act brings. But there will be one difference. Distinguish between happiness a pleasure. These are not identical. And even in childhood, they can be confused. When I'm in training Krania she heard the word for the first time Source, I asked teachers, what is it? She has brought me to my pleasant feelingwho went right from the heart. Nothing special - something I knew well, but I immediately started crying. Suddenly it was allowed to feel good. At that moment, I realized how I considered this feeling to be a forbidden thing in my life. One client expressed my feelings beautifully: "I've always had to do more than just what I did well."

If we have the opportunity to be with others in their pain and give them a helping hand, we feel compassion and a sense of special fulfillment of our spiritual essence. Even Edgar Cayace's interpretations often say that we will attain grace to the throne only with the hands of those we have helped. One of the interpretations is even more emphatic by his assertion that no one will get to heaven if he does not rely on these hands.

I versus selfishness
In your book Creative reflection she tells Richard Raines the story of prisoners of war held captive during World War II in Japan. Prisoners work outside the prison on a construction site for their prisoners. At the end of the work, the shovels are counted and one is missing. The enraged commander insists that the shovel must be returned immediately and the culprit must confess. The prisoners look at each other incomprehensibly, which infuriates the commander even more, and he finally shouts, "Everyone will die!" And prepares everything necessary to carry out the sentence. One man logs in and announces that it was he who took the shovel. In a fit of rage, the commander immediately beats him to death. The groups then return to prison with the body of a dead friend, and the shovels are recalculated. The first count was wrong, no shovel was missing. Only some of us are encouraged to make such a sacrifice. However, we have the opportunity to help every day.

Skupiny
Different groups have different spiritual ideals, and they need to be properly understood before we decide to enter. The Nazis were also convinced that they were doing good things. Let's see the activity of any group if it is in accordance with the goal of the Creator, must rely on real love and must be benefit to the rest of humanity.

Smell of life
Ideas are our motives: WHY we do something against what we do.

We can ask bricklayers who are working on building a new theater what they are doing. One responds: "I'm laying bricks." The other says: "I'm building a wall." But the third can say: "I'm helping build a work that will bring people a lot of fun."

  • From one point of view, there is only one spiritual ideal for the whole human race, and your life can become an attempt to live according to it.
  • From another perspective, however, your life may have a specific mission for which you were born. It is very specific and no one else can fulfill it as well as you.

It is important to know that each task is essential, although it seems small.

Again, I would like to rely on childhood memories. What did you want to be as children, what did you play most often? What fulfilled your childhood dreams? We were not limited by words Nejd a I can not. We lived on goals bigger than we were at the time, and we should continue to do so. Is there a great work ahead of us that needs to be realized and in which we can get involved? Every such work consists of doing small things, but we should always be consistent and kind and bringing the greatest amount of love into our lives.

Crossroads of life
Sometimes it's like we're asked to start doing things differently. With a different intention, with different goals. You are doing your job well and you enjoy it altogether, but you will come to a point where it is possible to use it for the relief of more people. I have to admit I stand at such a crossroads. I work with craniosacral biodynamics 5th year. People change their lives in small steps. And somewhere it seemed to stop. What can I do to help people do better in my presence? How can I become the person who will be lighter a stronger beacon for its clients? A lot of possibilities and challenges come to life. One thing left - wanting. I feel very calm inside and I can be connected to it, just afford it.

Exercise
Do something today that connects you with a pleasant feeling inside.

  • This act would give you neit should bring financial rewards, attention, and perhaps no word of appreciation.
  • It should contribute to something good, someone or something to help, another person, animal, environment…
  • Realize how this little deed has made you feel connected to things bigger than yourself.
