It is possible that the famous Egyptian scientist Nicholas Reeves found a resting place for Nefertiti in the two secret chambers of the tomb of King Tutankhamun. During a radar scan, he found two open spaces with metal and organic matter behind the west and north walls of the tomb.

He assumes that there are hidden chambers behind the tomb and probably contains the tomb of Queen Nefertiti, one of the most famous personalities in Egyptian history.

When he presented his theory at a conference in Egypt on May 8-9, 2016, he met only skepticism and resistance.

Záhí Hawáss, an Egyptian scientist and former Egyptian Minister of Cultural Heritage, commented: "In my entire career, I have never encountered the use of radar to reveal anything significant." rooms. But what Hawáss said is not entirely accurate. In 2000, Reeves and his team used georadar to find an untouched burial room (KV63) in the Valley of the Kings.

The current minister, Khaled el-Anani, will allow another tomb to be scanned, but he will not allow any physical research until 100 is sure that the cavity is behind the wall.

The fact is, Nicholas Reeves is not just any archaeologist. He is the project leader of the Amarna Royal Tombs and an Egyptian scientist at the University of Arizona. 31 years ago, he received a PhD for defending his work on robbing tombs and mummies. He worked as a curator of the Egyptian Monuments Department at the British Museum. In other words, he is a highly qualified expert and yet the Egyptian ministry is blocking his research.

Why all this? Maybe Egypt doesn't want to reveal the secret behind the walls of the tomb. Queen Nefertiti and her entire family are known for having elongated skulls. Once the contents of the tomb were discovered, it would be impossible to conceal the truth. A DNA sample taken from a mummy is very important. Many theorize that both of Tutankhamun's parents, Akhenaten and Nefertiti, were aliens or an extinct human race.

Achnaton and Nefertiti with daughters - all of them have elongated skulls.

Nefertiti ruled alongside her husband during the 18th Dynasty. After Akhenaten's death around 1336 BC, Nefertiti ruled alone for another 14 years. She was known for her leadership skills at the head of the army as well as beauty and charm. She became Tutankhamun's guardian and gained influence by marrying him to one of her daughters.

Her disappearance is shrouded in mystery and intrigue. She simply disappeared 14 years after her husband's death. Her tomb was never discovered. It is said, however, that the queen was buried with gold weapons, her mirror, a fan and jewels.

Nicholas Reeves concluded: "I was looking for evidence that would contradict my claims, but I found only others that support my thesis that there is something exceptional in Tutankhamun's tomb."

We can only hope that the Egyptian ministry will allow further research.
