6th international conference of exopolitics, history and spirituality

The lights or UFOs over Phoenix (and also seen over Nevada, Arizona and the Mexican state of Sonora) is one of the most media-watched incidents of the 90s. This is because the event was watched by more than 20000 people and the whole incident was broadcast live on several television stations.

The incident occurred on March 13.03.1997, 18 and the first report appeared at 55:747 local time from Henderson, one local citizen saw a dark "V" shaped object in the sky with five bright lights. Its size was compared to the Boeing XNUMX. The object was moving southeast and made a quiet whistling sound. Gradually, other testimonies came from Paulden, Prescott, and Dewey-Humboldt. Observers described a dark body that obscured the stars and lights at the bottom that were said to resemble burning gas rather than searchlights. From half past eight to half past ten, another phenomenon was observed over Phoenix, the connection with which was not clear: a series of bright lights hung over the western horizon, gradually sinking beyond the peaks of the Sierra Estrella.

Moderator: I've been looking at international records that aren't protected by the Department of Defense, but maybe by you. The story happened in Arizona and is written here: An unidentified pilot (according to quotes from the press) flying near the local airport in Arizona with his son informed about 6 lights in the night sky. He informed the air traffic control to tell them, "I see the lights here. I didn't expect any other planes here, let alone in front of my runway. Can you tell me what's going on there? ” Flight control: There are no more planes. Pilot: I see six bright lights. This mystery has never been clearly solved.

Kurt Russell: Up to one detail. I'll tell you the flight number. It was Bonanza 2 Tango Sierra and I was the pilot.

M: that's not it !?

KR: My son and I were flying behind his girlfriend and we were just in the landing phase, and I just saw six lights above the airport in a perfectly clear "V" formation. The first person to notice was Oliver when I was looking at him. We were about 2,5 km in front of the airport and Oliver said: Dad, what's the light? I looked at it and said I did not know. On it: It's alright? I replied that yes - I will call and report it. When I did it, they told me they did not see anything and knew nothing. So I said, well, I'll take it like six unidentifiable flying objects.

KR:  We landed. I dropped Oliver at the airport, turned around and fled back to LA (Los Angeles). We've never talked about it before, and we've never even mentioned anyone.

KR: Two years later, Goldie (wife of Goldie Hown) watched TV when I was just home. They were just giving a UFO show. I came home and wanted to say to her: hello darling, how did you succeed ...? And as I went to her, I stood in front of the TV and started watching, and they were showing the event. The event was the most watched at the time (it had the most witnesses). It is estimated that more than 20000 people saw it. I watched it (TV show) and I felt like Richard Dreyfuss (the main filmmaker) v Close encounters of the third species: Why do I know about this ?! It did not make sense to me.

KR: And they just said the story - [anonymous] the pilot informed during the landing of ... etc. Never before did I think about it until that moment: That was me! Wait a minute - I went to look in my flight logs. I found there exactly that flight at that particular time and note about UFOs.

KR: What fascinated me about it was that it literally fell out of my head and Oliver never talked about it. If I hadn't seen the TV show, I would never have remembered it.
