Today, the smart phone uses the vast majority of us. Try to look at the way to work in a transport vehicle - how many people fix their eyes on their phone? Most of them, unfortunately, including children. Is Smart Phone Safe for Children? And to what extent? A new study focused on this issue.

Kids and the use of smartphones

A recent study involving over 40 a thousand children aged 2 to 17 years has confirmed the negative effects of using smart mobile phones, computers and televisions.

Children who spend more hours per day watching smart phones and computers are more likely to develop mental illnesses. WLAN increases the body temperature again. After one hour of watching a smartphone or a computer (or television), children can experience a decrease in mental well-being, a lesser degree of curiosity, lower self-control, greater distraction, less emotional stability, and more. We can all observe this after an hour. But how many children spend much more time in front of the screen? And why?

The average time spent using mobile phones - and not just children - is more than 3 hours a day. It is assumed that the number of smartphones will double in the future and the time we spend on them.

The 14-17 user age study has confirmed this:

Users who have spent 7 hours or more on smartphones and computers are twice as likely to develop depression and anxiety as those who spend a maximum of an hour a day on smartphones and computers. This difference is more visible in adolescents than in young children.

Tablets or smart phones nowadays already have children aged 3 for years. But is it really necessary to put a smart phone in the hands of such small children? According to child psychologists, we greatly disrupt their imagination, natural curiosity, creativity and communication. It is always better to embark on nature, to draw, to do whatever is creative.
