In the territory of present-day Kaliningrad, which formerly belonged to East Prussia, there was a secret military object under the name Königsberg-13.

It is worth noting that below Kaliningrad (formerly Königsberg) is one of the most branched systems of corridors and buildings in Europe. The first tunnels began to be built in the 13th century and expanded over time - new halls, corridors and hiding places were created. This whole underground converged to one point, a cellar located in a deep sloping shaft below the Royal Castle, which stood on a rock. From here, it was possible to walk underground not only to every part of the city, but also beyond its borders. The castle was located on the island of Kneiphof and consisted of four medieval buildings, which were located almost a hundred years ago. secret laboratory. It was named Königsberg-13 after its address. However, before we get to the laboratory itself and the experiments that were carried out there, we should mention the history of the city and what all the foundations of this building went through.

Konigsberg

Since its founding, it has been a city Konigsberg (Kaliningrad, Czech Královec) recognized as the center of mysticism. Still in 14. century, here were the magicians and the witch-hunters who felt perfectly safe here and were known far beyond the borders of then-Prussia. On the island where the city lay, occult schools were founded. You dealt with the study of strange and inexplicable phenomena and secret knowledge.

First, the Teutonic Knights, which conquered the original Prussians, chose a town about 200 kilometers to the east as their headquarters, but when the knights stood on the Royal Mountain at the site of a Slavic shrine, a solar eclipse occurred. And the masters of the order took this phenomenon as a sign - so Königsberg became the seat of their grandmaster.

For a long time, schools that dealt with mystical knowledge were outside the realm of the state's interests. The situation changed only when Adolf Hitler came to power, who had a very strong connection to the occult. And with the advent of the Third Reich, the work of the Königsberg-13 laboratory was also launched.

The name was not chosen at random and the number 13 itself was characteristic of Königsberg. All the most important events that have taken place in the life of the city are in some way connected with him and his multiples. Even despite the well-known efforts of the Germans to achieve symmetry, the tomb of one of the city's most famous natives, Immanuel Kant, has 13 columns. Infantry General Otto Lasch signed the surrender of Königsberg in his office as document number 13. And if we add the digits of the year of founding the city - 1255, we also get the number 13. Interestingly, we get the same final number on the dates of founding two other cities, Berlin and Moscow. From a numerological point of view, it is definitely worth thinking about what it was like with their competition for dominance over Königsberg…

The lab devoted itself to several areas of research, it was studies of magic, astrology, ancient knowledge and hypnosis. All this was to be completed by the creation of a miraculous and mystical weapon that would lead to the extinction of the enemies of the Third Reich. However, allegedly no documents that could testify to the laboratory's activities have been preserved in the Soviet Union. There are several versions of why this happened.

According to the first of them, after the end of World War II, the Soviet government handed them over to the Americans in exchange for German technology and machines, the Americans used the research results and made countless films on these topics. According to another version, the documents in the KGB archives disappeared, and a third claims that no documents actually existed because they were destroyed by laboratory workers by flooding the cellars before they retreated.

Konigsberg

Be that as it may, the information about the lab is very sketchy. All we know for sure is that the laboratory began its work long before the war began, and its activities were so secretive that almost no one in the city knew about its existence. And it was only during the war that the locals began to think of something similar. One of the townspeople wrote in his diary an incident that took place in 1943, where he tells the story of how he met several Buddhist monks in purple and white clothes while walking on the island of Knaiphof.

To prove that the laboratory began operating before 1939, researchers cite some examples, one of which relates to 1929. At that time, Hitler was only coming to power, and many German journalists could still afford not to take the future Fȕhrer of the Third Reich seriously. During his second visit to East Prussia, Hitler caught a cold, hoarsely, and lost his voice. His speech with Königsberg's largest hall, the Stadthalle, was not the most successful. The leader ended his speech with a somewhat pathetic phrase: "I have come to conquer Königsberg!"

In response to his speech, one of the local popular journalists wrote an article assessing the physical and intelligence abilities and, from her point of view, unfounded visions of the speaker. A few days after the publication of the article, a handsome young man visited the editorial office, who gave the journalist a bouquet and a large bar of chocolate as a sign of respect and affection.

During the lunch break, all the editorial staff, including our journalist, went to a restaurant, where they inadvertently witnessed an unreal event. The woman unwrapped the chocolate and bit into the table. Everyone heard a sound that had nothing to do with chocolate and was more like glass shattering. A stream of blood gushed from the journalist's lips, but the woman continued to chew the table. When her colleagues recovered, it took them a lot of work to prevent her from continuing. The journalist was hospitalized with an unprecedented lip injury. Not only could she not speak long after, but she could not understand what was happening to her and where she was. The next day after the incident, a message was discovered in the newsroom, which contained a single sentence: "Leave him the city!"

So what was actually going on in the walls of Königsberg-13? To this we should add that Hitler forbade all independent activities of occult organizations, he wanted to have personal control over them. Erich Koch was in charge of the activity. The laboratory lay in four ancient two-story buildings. A large number of magical items were placed on the ground floors, coming from different periods and belonging to different nations. There were Tibetan masks, Christian symbols and Viking weapons. In the basement was a huge cold room with large containers filled with ice, in which were the eyeballs of domestic animals from the local slaughterhouse.

There was a department in the laboratory that dealt with and researched the teachings of the Königsberg school "Dolls of the old Magda“From the 15th century. Puppets were made here, which were very similar to the hostile politicians towards the then Germany. These dolls were given animal eyes from the cellar. After their completion, people with certain knowledge and paranormal abilities began to work with them. After a while, thick silver needles, finished with amber balls, began to be inserted into them. Confirmation of the effect or its denial is not available to this day, however, when Winston Churchill learned that they were working with his puppet in the Königsberg-13 laboratory, he was very concerned.

This could be the reason for the British's resentment against this city, who covered it with bombs in 1944 and practically razed it to the ground. However, all four laboratory buildings survived the raid, although the neighboring temple was destroyed. The laboratory was turned into ruins only during the attack of the Red Army.

It is known that one of the laboratory's collaborators, a clairvoyant and astrologer - Hans Schurra, published his prediction of the fall of the Third Reich in the early 40s. He also accurately predicted that Königsberg would fall in three days in April 1945. At that time, no one believed him and did not pay attention to his predictions. In March 1945, the Soviet army approached Königsberg.

In addition to studying different occult directions, the lab also explored phenomena such as airflow - absolutely innocuous at first glance. In the narrow and winding medieval streets, the movement of air has a very interesting course. Weather vane was commonly placed on houses at that time. One on the roof, which showed the direction of the wind, and the other, mounted below, pointed to the flow of air in the alleys. Sometimes the force of the wind was so great that people were literally pushed against the walls and it was necessary to make considerable efforts to be able to move in the required direction.

The study of air currents brought many benefits and its results were used for various purposes, such as intimidating the population. All that was needed was to install a small metal pinwheel of special construction in a certain place, and strange sounds and voices began to resound throughout the house. The wind could also have killed. The laboratory produced thin and sharp metal pens that could kill a person over long distances.

In addition, there have been elaborate thought-out ways of killing. To illustrate, those who were considered enemies by the Nazis were invited to visit and seated in a special chair with many small openings. It was built in a draft and the person was exposed to his work throughout the visit. After several such visits, he died of pneumonia.

Unfortunately, that's little we know about the Königsberg-13 laboratory. Many decades have passed since it ceased to exist. And it might seem that the history of the laboratory could remain a mere legend if strange things did not happen in Kaliningrad even today. One example for all. A few years ago, a group of students decided to take a few pictures at the tomb of Immanuel Kant. When they looked at the photos, there was an unknown person who did not appear in their vicinity. He wore an SS uniform and a punctured helmet on his head. He was in the foreground in the pictures, with a StG44 submachine gun in his left hand and his right arm raised to Nazi salute. None of the students doubted that it was a ghost from previous times. Later, students saw another ghost near the Royal Castle. This time it was the Nazi art historian Alfred Rohde, who took care of the Amber Room, exported by the fascists from the Tsarist Sela.

To this day, we do not know whether the laboratory has developed a psychotropic weapon of mass destruction. It is probable that partial results of the work and knowledge of Königsberg-13 were used in some local operations, but we cannot prove it….

Excerpt from an interview with a local researcher, Sergei Trifonov

In Kaliningrad, almost everyone knows the historian Sergei Trifonov. The reason is probably his unusual direction of research. He has devoted his entire life to the study of strange phenomena and events in Königsberg-Kaliningrad that go beyond the generally accepted and understandable.

Was the laboratory, led by Eric Koch, aware only of the narrow circle of initiates?

"Yes, the point was that Hitler and his advisers were to some extent mystified," says Sergei Trifonov. "They believed in demonology and pagan rituals. Examples are the names of military units, such as Dead Water or Werewolf. The Nazis approached everything related to the occult with great seriousness and care. They used ancient signs and symbols. My collection of photographs includes more than 80 characters and runes, prints of wolf paws and children's hands on bricks. The well-known symbol SS represents two lightnings - rune sig, which represent double energy. There are many documents confirming that the Runic warriors, or as Koch called them, dark initiates, performed ancient Germanic rites before the battle. Entire companies made cuts on their hands with shards of red roof tiles, which was to symbolize their relentlessness and intransigence in the fight against the enemy and the continuous continuation of the family. "

What was the secret lab?

This institution had two main tasks. Study of ancient metaphysical disciplines - astrology, magic, hypnosis and various cults. The second was by the East Knowledge to create a psychotropic weapon of mass destruction.

It is known exactly when this laboratory was founded?

We do not have the preserved documents. We exchanged the archive with the Americans for the machines captured by them. Therefore, unfortunately, I cannot say when the laboratory was founded.

Who, besides the Germans, did similar research?

Virtually everyone. It is documented that Winston Churchill discussed the possibility of using magic with military circles in the fall of 1940.

Was the place of the laboratory being random?

I am absolutely convinced that the place was chosen completely consciously and on the basis of its history, connected with magicians and wizards, who also had a good reason to settle here.

Did they manage to put anything from laboratory research into practice?

I cannot say with certainty that the Nazis managed to construct a psychotropic weapon of mass destruction, but the intellectual potential of this device was at a very high level. I have no doubt that the knowledge and talent of individual scientists have been used in some local operations. However, I cannot prove that in some cases the laboratory staff were involved and in others it was a pure coincidence. I'm just a researcher, not a sensible person.
