For nearly six minutes, the messages were replaced by a distorted voice that was supposed to deliver a message. The broadcast only took over the soundtrack, the picture remained unchanged except for distortion.

The person identified himself as Vrillon, representative of the Ashtar Galactic Command. The incident reports differ, some calling the speaker "Vrillon", others calling "Gillon" and others calling "Asteron".

The interruption stopped shortly after the delivery of the statement, the transmissions returned to normal shortly before the end of the Looney Tunes cartoon. Incident

The incident caused a local alarm and attracted public attention. The next day, she announced IBA (something like here Council for Radio and Television Broadcasting - RRTV) in the Sunday newspaper that the broadcast was a scam. The IBA claimed that this was the first known fraud of this nature to have been aired.
