Can parallel worlds affect our world?

Howard Wiseman, a physicist at Griffith University in Brisbane, and his colleagues introduced a new idea called the "Many Interacting Worlds Hypothesis" (MIW). Howard argues that the idea of ​​parallel universes in quantum mechanics has existed since 1957. In this hypothesis, each universe branches into a pile of new universes each time quantum measurements are made. So all the possibilities are realized - in some universes, the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs missed the Earth. In others, Australia was colonized by the Portuguese.
