Association of Universities of Astronomical Research (AURA), which also manages the NSO, has issued a statement that it provides cooperation in resolving the situation. She did not provide more detailed information about the reasons for the whole event. Yesterday, AURA only confirmed with a press release that the NSO will remain closed. This logically records speculation and, for the mainstream, controversial theories and the possible cause of the whole action.

There are two explanations:

1. There is a huge solar storm with potentially devastating effects coming to us, and somebody wants to see more detailed information about the whole thing left in front of the public.
2. Near the Sun, an alien ships (ETV) fleet was observed, as stated in yesterday's report.

In the first case, AURA said that nothing like that was going to happen and that all measurement data currently held by the public would be in unchanged similarly published retrospectively. Speculation about aliens were clearly shot down by a statement by Observatory Director James McAteer, who stated: "The telescope doesn't see any aliens."
