Nazca: Communicating with Aliens Using Drawings?

The lines were discovered in 1927, when airlines began flying over Peru, and passengers described strange lines on the ground as figures and various geometric shapes. They were almost invisible from the face of the earth - massive figures marked on the surface of the desert Nazca, almost as if those who watched them from above welcomed.

Planes filled with tourists from all over the world quickly conquered the sky above the plain, and over 100 different figures were found in the area. These strange geoglyphs (figures on the ground) show animals, interesting geometric shapes, and even humanoid figures.

Line Nazca, as interpreted by Simon E. Davies

Perhaps one of the most interesting things about Nazce is that these drawings are scattered over 200 square kilometers. These characters are huge and you can only appreciate them from the sky. What was the purpose of these shapes?

The largest figure found in Nazca is about 305 m long and the longest line is long 14,5 km. Why are they on the Nazca plain? How were they created? For what purpose? According to archaeologists, these mysterious drawings appear to have been created by Nazca people who lived in the area between the 1st and 8th centuries. The lines were created by carefully removing the reddish iron oxide pebbles that make up the desert surface. As soon as a substrate containing a large amount of limestone was exposed, lighter, erosion-resistant solid surfaces formed. The reason why these patterns have survived for so long is the weather in the region - rain and wind are almost non-existent, so if you go to Nazka today and create something on earth, it will stay there for a while.

Hummingbird in Nazca

The question we must ask ourselves today is how the old inhabitants of Nazka created these drawings and for what purpose they did so. The size of the characters is best appreciated from the sky, but at the time humans created them, the planes didn't exist, so who did they create them for? They had to have someone to guide them, because these lines are accurate, very accurate, and it's hard to believe that they could achieve such accuracy in their drawings on Nazca without being able to observe what they make up.

Showing something on Nazca is not a problem, you can create a picture on the ground just by removing the top layer of stones and whatever you choose to view, it stays there. The question is how these huge drawings have been done so precisely. Could the aliens be the reason for the lines on Nazca? The answer is probably YES because at that time, in the past of humanity, the only ones who had the ability to fly would be aliens.

Some parts of Nazca's shapes have amazing shapes of highly accurate triangles. What is the purpose of these lines? Could they be used as a landmark for visitors from outer space? Have natives been created as a monument to the gods who visited them thousands of years ago?

Mysterious geometric shapes adorn the landscape

According to legend, the mysterious Inca creator - the god Viracocha - ordered in the past to create lines and geoglyphs on Nazca. Some myths claim that the line on the Nazca was created by Viracocha himself, who was a great teacher - a God from the Andes, similar to Quetzalcoatl or Kukulkan.

Viracocha was one of the most important deities in the Pantheon of the Incas, was perceived as the creator of all things, and was closely connected with the sea. According to the myth recorded by Juan de Betanzos, Viracocha was born from Lake Titicaca (or sometimes from the Pacaritambo cave) during darkness to bring light. Erich von Däniken's controversial theory of Nazca lines has attracted hundreds of people who traveled to Nazka and studied the culture, life, and history of their inhabitants.

There are some scholars who have found interesting patterns in numerous drawings and conclude that Nazca may be one of the earliest known examples of applied geometry. One of the most interesting patterns to explain is undoubtedly the one he depicts spider, which has one leg extended. Interestingly, if you invert this geoglyph to mirror, you will see that the spider on Nazca represents the constellation of Orion, and the long leg of the spider designates the brightest star in the sky - Sirius, which is also one of the closest Earth stars.

Does it seem strange to you?

The one who proposed these complex geoglyphs on Nazce had an excellent knowledge of astronomy and geometry. Like many other ancient cultures around the world, the creator of shapes on the Nazca Plateau knew that Orion and Sirius are important, almost as if geoglyphs were his way of representing the stars.

According to researchers from the University of Dresden, who studied geoglyphs in Nazca and measured the magnetic field, they measured changes in the magnetic field under some geoglyphs. Electrical conductivity was also measured by local scientists when they performed tests on the Nazca lines, and the results showed that the electrical conductivity of the lines was 8000 times higher than next to them.

On Nazca there is something unique, different from any other place on earth. What makes Nazk so strange? Just everything. It is an environment rich in minerals - nitrates and the various compounds we use in our modern world. Nazca is found in a nitrate rich environment, but research has shown that natives have not needed them in the past.

The question may be whether nitrates would be particularly important for visitors who could visit Nazk in the past. In today's technology, nitrates can be used in many interesting things, and today we are interested in nitrates because they are used in the production of explosives. Nazca has endless secrets. The question is, do we really understand these giant shapes created with precision and knowledge of geometry? One thing is for sure, this area of Peru will continue to be an area of great interest for archaeologists, scientists and historians.
