In India, in April 1819, a British officer, John Smith, went into the jungle to hunt a tiger. In a small valley near Mumbai, he came across the entrance to a strange cave hidden in the bushes.
The entrance to the cave looked strange, so he decided to stop hunting and explore the cave further. He discovered in it a number of detailed reliefs and sculptures carved directly into the rock. And he soon discovered that this was just the beginning of a great discovery.
