On what side is the girl rotating? In the clockwise direction or vice versa?

Dancer

The true answer is: it turns in any direction, according to how you want it ...

As you look at the rotating silhouette of the dancer, the direction of movement "conceals" your brain. And because he has no fixed pattern, the girl turns to someone right, to the other to the left. It may happen if you observe for a moment that it will suddenly change direction. All this is the game of our brain.

In order to understand how it works, we mark the left side of the ballerina in red and right blue and look again:

If the dancer spins clockwise, you have a more active left cerebral hemisphere at that moment (logic, analysis); if it turns to the left, the right hemisphere (intuition, emotions). If it continuously changes direction, the work of both hemispheres is balanced.

Dancer

When you look at a dancing girl with someone else, it often happens that everyone moves to a different side, depending on which part of the brain each of you is more active at that moment.

This "prank" comes from the workshop of the Japanese designer from Hiroshima, Nobuyuki Kayahara, who created it in 2003.
