Osho: Is it important to have some attitude towards life?

The best way to miss life is to take a stand on it. All attitudes have their origin in our thinking, but life exists outside of them.

Attitudes are our fabrications, our prejudices and our inventions. Life is not our invention, on the contrary, we are just ripples on its surface.

What attitude can one of its waves have to the ocean? What is the attitude of a blade of grass to the Earth, the Moon, the Sun and the stars?

All attitudes are selfish; and they are all stupid.

Life is not philosophy, life is not a problem; life is a mystery. You should not live your life according to any form or circumstance - just as the others tell you - but go all the way to the starting line.

Everyone should consider themselves the first person in the world; for Adam or Eve. So you can open up to life and discover its endless possibilities. Only then will you expose yourself and be accessible; and the more you expose yourself, the more accessible you will be to all the possibilities of life.
