05. 05. 2019
6th international conference of exopolitics, history and spirituality

The International Midwife Confederation celebrates its 05.05 profession every year. since 1992. Let us remember today the importance and importance of this work.

Midwives are wise and educated. She puts women into a new, challenging and sacred role of mother. They provide psychic support, prepare the woman for childbirth, care for her and her child in the puerperium and supply her with the necessary information. They have a three-year bachelor's degree completed by a state final examination and after completing their education they have completed the relevant practice. After granting a license to practice independently, births are conducted without the presence of a doctor. Midwife it monitors, controls and, if necessary, uses instrumentation just as it does in a classic delivery room. She is able to recognize in time that the process of birth changes into pathological and it is necessary to call a doctor. Normal physiological childbirth can go alone and there is no reason to be accompanied by a doctor. A doctor is only needed when birth is not natural. There is nothing to heal in physiological delivery, there is nothing to fix. Indeed, natural birth is not an illness or an operation in itself.

Midwives they are certainly wise and educated women. They have always been called from time immemorial: grandmothers, midwives, grandmothers' babies, women lying or fušerky. The time when women normally attended after childbirth is a thing of the past.

"A literate woman, witty, endowed with good memory, hardworking, honest and without sensory defects. Should have healthy limbs, strong body and long slim fingers with short nails. It should be of a peaceful nature, sober, without prejudice, and not wanting money to provide abortion-inducing substances, " writes Soran of Ephesus.

Relief delivery

Midwife as first rize female profession

Midwives they were the first to welcome the new man to the world for centuries. The birthplace of Egyptian Ebers' papyrus from 1600 BC is still under way. To this day we can see the stool of the temple in Kom Ombo with recommendations on how a woman is to act in labor.

Midwife once a married or widowed woman of appropriate age could have become her own grown-up children. It was desirable to have delicate hands for the sensitive examination of the woman, not harsh and numb in her rough work. The babies were often called for food because of their good reputation for giving birth.

Hippocrates and Aristotle write about pregnancy, childbirth and abortion. And already at the births experienced women in particular, ie midwives. The oldest reports of birth wars in the Czech lands are already at the end of 12. century. A century later, King Wenceslas II. he dedicated his educator Elizabeth, who also worked midwife, a significant asset for its many years of service.

"Babictví the first demonstrably qualified female profession is the fruit of the Enlightenment, "  says Professor Milena Lender from the Faculty of Arts, University of Pardubice.

Midwives up to 18. century brought most of the children into the world. The presence of doctors at birth was exceptional. AND babes they had to follow certain laws. Empress Maria Theresa released in 1753 "General Health Order for the Kingdom of Bohemia", which edited i babictví. He urged midwives to behave honestly, to prohibit drinking, to punish any premature expulsion of the fetus and to administer medication to the puerperium and the newborn. Part of Order there was an oath. Long centuries have midwives based on the experiences of previous generations. But from the beginning of modern times they had to start their education. According to the Royal Decree of 1651, they should have been tested.

Antonín Jan Jungmann

Starting 19. century was for midwives the first study order was issued, according to which they had to attend a maternity course at the university. In Prague, such courses took place in the hospital U Apolináře. Antonín Jungmann worked here as a physician here in the 19th century, and more than eight thousand took his courses delivery babies.

Antonín Jungmann he was also the author of the textbook Introduction to Babing, which states: "In order to attain the dignity and the rank of the Grandma, it is required that the grandmother, in order to do her office properly, be in good health; Be pure in the flesh, without abominable scum, without scab, and in other vices. The hands of the grandmother have gentle, sensitive. ”

It should be pointed out that as early as this time, a male element began to creep into the Riga women's profession, a mere passive observer behind the nearest door… unfortunately we reap the consequences today.

Natural or alternative?

When you say alternative birth, many people imagine troubled womenwho refuse to receive any medical help. But in the original sense it is Alternative childbirth anything but birth natural! By Alternative Childbirth it is then administration of oxytocin, epidural, caesarean section, shaving, enema, peritoneal insertion, abdominal crumbling, obstetric laboring (Hamilton's touch), amniotic fluid squeezing or Forcing women to be born lying. All of these procedures are in most cases unnatural and unnecessarily invasive.

Pregnancy is not a diseasefrom which it is needed fruiting woman healing and giving birth is a completely natural matter for a female organism that does not need to be interfered with. The medical staff should be at the highest level to support the woman mentally, relieve stress and encourage in a difficult situation, not to dictate what to do and when to push or when to be quiet. The fruiting woman not a patient!

Midwife woman listens, does not, does not convince… Natural childbirth is based on trust in the power of instinct and the intuition of the expectant mother. The basic need of a nascent woman is complete peace, warmth, intimacy and a sense of security. When a woman experiences her childbirth in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, her body produces a sufficient amount of the hormones needed for physiologically natural birthing. In order for the necessary hormones to be produced naturally, they must work the parts of the brain to their fullest during labor. For this, a woman must have maximum space and peace.

Childbirth does not lead nemanages obstetrician, doctor, midwife or assistant. The birth is in fact driving subcortical brain centers nascent women while her cerebral cortex is getting into a state of deep meditation. The cerebral cortex is, as is well known, responsible for human functions such as consciousness, memory, thought, will ... Naturally born woman finds himself in a very special state of consciousness, comparable to sexual arousal, orgasm and / or transem. But this state is very vulnerable. Therefore, some women who have undergone medically controlled childbirth describe feelings comparable to abuse or rape.

If the birth is natural, it is imperative to respect the woman's physiological birth mechanisms. There is a need to trust the innate abilities of both mother and child and to strike a balance between privacy and support. Philosophy birth is based on the intuition of the nascent woman. She feels the best for her, definitely better than anyone else. The woman's body conceals enough strength and energy to give birth to a healthy child. The woman herself determines the course of childbirth and thus connects demanding physical work with a deep psychic experience. Yes, that's how it should be and stay forever!

Births in the Czech Republic

She also focused on childbirth in the Czech Republic a few years ago World Health Organization. After human rights control, the Czech Republic received a strong call to respect the rights of women of birth:

“It is a practice that goes against recommendations World Health Organization, providing care without the patient's informed consent, using harmful procedures such as routine dyke injuries and mothers' separation from their children. In the field of obstetrics, the Czech Republic does not comply with the recommendations concerning the provision of free choice, the way and place of birth, " writes article on Zdraví.Euro.cz.

Where to find yours

Most midwives are employed in maternity hospitals or gynecological clinics. There are also those that have their own private practice. Private midwife contacts can be found at The Union of Midwives or Czech Chamber of Midwives. Your health insurance company, gynecological clinic or maternity hospital should also contact you. In Prague, we recommend that you contact via A-Center.

The birth process will affect the life of the mother and child

Every mother who has more children will confirm this to you: what kind of birth - what kind of nature. The truth is that we can't influence a lot of things, but a lot we can. Sometimes we have to intervene, but in this case it is usually enough to let everything flow naturally… And immediately after giving birth, a huge amount of oxytocin is excreted, and in this hormonal bath every woman is set to accept and love her baby, whatever it may be. It is a gift from Nature for the journey of motherhood.

Birth abbreviation is not a disease and do not belong to hospitals a priori. Therefore, we support the project Let them Stand!
