Preventive hip examination

It is true that one is so healthy to what extent he feels healthy. And also, until you get started with a doctor, everything is all right.

And now let's turn it into kids, especially kids who still can't speak (newborns, infants,…) or even older children 1 to 6 years. That is, children who do not yet have their own opinion.

In our state, there are a lot of so-called mandatory examinations and mandatory vaccinations (about those in another article). Between one of responsibilities belongs preventative examination of the hips.

By default, it is performed in three steps. The first examination is performed in the maternity hospital, when the orthopedist checks the mobility of the newborn's hips. The examination is performed by touch. Subsequently, the child is sent for another preventive examination after about 3 weeks and then again after 3 months. In these cases, ultrasound is already used.

If the doctor at the maternity hospital tells you that everything is in perfect order, other preventive examinations are really just above-standard prevention.

It's worth seeing comments under the article Preventive hip examination by MUDr. Martin Gregor on the server Rodina.cz.

The comment from 6.1.2007m 18:23:15, which I perceive as absolutely key, I would like to quote:

We had to sign a reverse in the Czech Republic, we don't want ultrasound / hips x-ray… Husband is a doctor (Canadian / South African) and was surprised by the Czech blanket investigation. He is used to that hip up looks at the moment (family doctor is able to do this, no orthopedist is needed), only possible problems are sent to x-ray…

In another article on the Internet, you will read that this examination is a specialty mainly in Western and Central Europe and is not performed at all in third world countries. What does this mean? That they would go on crutches in Africa and the Amazon? I would say no. Rather, I believe that the whole preventive concept is based on incorrect assumptions. For example, in third world countries, they do not normally have prams and children are worn in scarves from birth. The so-called Our company has only been discovering "scarves" for a few decades. At the same time, let us realize that our ancestors (and not only in Africa) had no prams. If it were that key, we wouldn't survive. The whole thing, in turn, is based on distortions, half-truths and propaganda attacking contemporary modern society.

As one mum spoke tremendously in another discussion: How do I decide if no one tells me about it and the doctor starts threatening me that if I don't have my child examined, he'll be crippled.

And another difference between understanding people in modern society and between people there elsewhere. Modern society seeks to pass on the responsibility of the individual to the state system, while in the countries third world it is implicitly the opposite. Just go to Egypt and as a tourist you will understand that where you come from, there is something very wrong.
