SERPO project: Exchange of people and aliens (5.): Discoveries on Serpo

19. 01. 2018
6th international conference of exopolitics, history and spirituality

This chapter provides general information on what the exchange team discovered when staying on the Serpo planet. Section 5.1 describes what the team has discovered about the planet. Part 5.2 describes the civilization of Eben. Section 5.3 describes the problems encountered by team members, and 5.4 points to the project's conclusions.

5.1 Discovery on the Planet.

Our team was in the Ebene ship nine months before we crossed the distance to their planet. During the trip, all of our team members often suffered from dizziness, disorientation and headaches. During the flight the ship did not have any problems. The vessel was very large and allowed the team to move around. Once the team arrived on the Eben planet, it took several months for us to adapt to the atmosphere. During the adaptation period, we suffered from headaches, dizziness and disorientation.

It was just the darkness, but it was not a complete dark. The Ebony Planet is inside the solar system of Zeta Reticuli. The system has two suns, but their angles above the horizon were small and allowed for some darkness on the planet, depending on the sun's movement.

The orbit was inclined, allowing the northern part of the planet to be colder. The planet was a bit smaller than Earth. The atmosphere was similar to Earth and contained elements of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen. Zeta reticuli is approximately 37 light years away from us. The clear sun of the Eben planet was a problem. Although we had sunglasses, we still suffered from strong sunshine and sunlight. Radiation levels on the planet were slightly higher than on Earth. We were careful, hiding our body with our garments in all circumstances.

The ebony did not have any cooling methods, except for industry. The temperature of the planet in the middle part, remained between 94 ° and 115 ° F (35 - 44 ° C). There were clouds and rain, but not often. In the northern hemisphere, the temperature dropped to 55 to 80 degrees. F (13-27 ° C). It was too cold for Eben, or at least an unsuitable climate. Our team found Ebena living in the north, but only in very small villages.

Our team eventually moved north to be cool. The land transport our team used was similar to a helicopter. The power system was a closed power source that provided electricity for the flight. It was very easy to fly and our pilots learned it in a few days. Eben had also cars that floated just above the ground and had no tires or wheels.

There were commanders, but no real form of government. Our team has never seen any crime. They had an army that acted as a police force. But no one in my team saw any rifles or other weapons. Regular meetings were held in every small community. There was also one large community that acted as the central center of civilization. All industry was in this big community. They had no money!

Every Eben got everything he needed. No shops, resorts or shopping centers. There were only central distribution centers where the Eben gained everything they needed. All the Ebenians were in some position. Children were very independent. The only problem our members met when they tried to photograph Eben's children. Soldiers politely took them away and warned them not to try again.

Our team has repeatedly researched the energy sources of the Ebony. Because our team did not have access to scientific microscopes or other measuring equipment, we could not understand the function of the energy equipment. But regardless of consumption, the Ebony power supply always provided the right power and power. In the team, we assumed that the device has a controller that detects the required power and then delivers this specific value. (Note: members of our team have brought two energy devices to Earth for analysis.)

Serpo orbited only about one sun. The second sun was on another runway.

Here are some geological data about Serpo that our team members have compiled. Our team had two geologists (they were also biologists). The first thing our geologists did was map the entire planet. The first step was the division of the planet into half and the creation of the equator. Then they examined the northern and southern hemispheres. In each hemisphere they set four quadrants.

Eventually they drew the north and south poles. This was the easiest method for studying the planet. Most Eben communities were located along the equator. However, some communities were located north of the equator, in each of the four quadrants in the northern hemisphere. There were no communities at both poles. The South Pole was a desert. It was a barren country with practically zero rainfall, nothing in the field.

There were rock formations of volcanic origin and the area of extreme heat was just a rocky desert. Temperatures at the South Pole were measured between 90 ° and 135 ° F. Further north of the South Pole in the 1st quadrant, the team found porous stones. This meant some volcanic activity in the area. Our team found numerous volcanoes here.

The team also discovered several volcanic cracks with standing water in the area. Water has been tested and contains high levels of sulfur, zinc, copper and other unknown chemicals. When moving east to 2. quadrant, the team found essentially the same field of volcanic rocks.

However, in one particular location near the northern end of the quadrant, the team found an alkaline plain. On the ground there were flows flowing into the desert or into dry places. Our team here found hard mud, covered with alkaline salts. Vegetation has grown in this area.

Moving into the 3 quadrant, the team found a typical wasteland: The dry area, which was lined with deep gorges with thin vegetation. The valley was extremely deep, some went deeper into 3000 tracks. In this region, the team found the first animal on Serpo. It looked like an armada. This creature was very hostile and tried to attack our team several times. The Ebene escort used some type of sound device (sound beams) to frighten the creature.

We moved to the equatorial area and our team discovered the landscape in the form of a desert that contained vegetation. The team here found many oases fueled by Artesian wells. This water was the freshest one, containing only unknown chemicals. She tasted good and Ebeni used it and drank. Our team still boiled water, because unknown types of bacteria were found during the cultivation tests.

After moving to the northern hemisphere, the team noticed a major change in climate and landscape. One member of the team who studied the 1st Quadrant in the Northern Hemisphere named it "Little Montana." The team discovered trees here, similar to the evergreen earthly trees. The ebony got the white sap they drank.

Many other types of vegetation have been found in this area. There was also standing water, probably fed by artesian wells or volcanic cracks. In one area, marshes were also seen. Great plants were found in this swampy area. Eben used these plants to eat. The onions of these plants were very large. They tasted something like a melon.

Our team eventually moved to 1. quadrant in the northern hemisphere. There was a moderate temperature in this area (50 - 80 ° F = 10 - 27 ° C) and enough shade. The Ebenians built a small base for the team. Most of the remaining exploration of the planet was carried out from this place. The team explored the southern hemisphere once only to get geological information. Because of the intense heat, the team decided not to come back.

The team continued exploring the northern hemisphere, and gradually traveled towards the north pole, where the heat was greatly cooled. He found mountains that rose up to the altitude of the 15 000 trail and the valley, which fell to below the baseline level at sea level. There were lush green meadows where there grew some grass with heads. The team crossed these fields, even though the heads were not a cinder.

The radiation level was lower in the northern hemisphere than in the equator and the southern hemisphere. The weather was cold at the North Pole and the team saw the first snowflakes. There were almost snowy areas around the North Pole. The snow was about 20 feet deep at the deepest point. The temperature here was constant 33 ° F = 0,5 ° C. Our team did not find a temperature anywhere that would differ significantly in this area. The ebony in this area could not stay long. They suffered from extreme hypothermia.

The junior team contained a suit similar to a space suit with built-in heaters.

Our team found evidence of past earthquakes here. Breaking lines were found along the northern end of the southern hemisphere. The abundance of plants was observed, along with the burnt rock that had been a magma stream in the past.

Our team brought hundreds of soil samples from Serpo, vegetation, water, and other items to test on Earth. During the survey, the team discovered numerous animal species. The most common were animals that looked like a big ox. The animals were shy and never hostile. Another animal looked like a mountain lion that had a long mane around his neck. This animal was curious, but Eben was not considered hostile.

During the 4 survey. the southern hemisphere quadrant, the team found a very long and great creature that looked like a snake. This creature was deadly dangerous, as the Ebenians explained to us. His head was large and had almost human eyes. This was the only time our team used their weapons and killed this creature.

The ebony were not excited when we killed this animal, but were upset that we had used a weapon. The team had four Kolt pistols (standard military equipment) and four M2 carbines. After killing, we expelled this creature. The internal organs were strange and nothing resembled earth snakes. The creature was 15 feet long and 1,5 feet in diameter. The team was curious about his eyes. Eye examination revealed eyeballs similar to human eyes. The eye contained the iris, and the retina connected to a strong nerve, similar to a human optic nerve, that led to the creature's brain. The brain was large, much larger than the snakes on Earth. The team wanted to taste the creature's meat, but the Ebony guide told them politely not to do so.

There were no fish in the Serpo water areas, as we know. Some marshes near the equator contained odd-looking creatures similar to eels (small, perhaps 8-10-year-old), probably cousins of terrestrial snakes. Near the swamps there was something like a jungle, but not such a jungle we know on Earth.

We had a long discussion about the weapons. Eventually the Ebenes did not care. So our team members have decided to do something for every occasion. He does not know anything about the fight, because our team was very cautious about securing their safety. Do not forget that all 12 members were military agents, so weapons meant a sense of security. Side note: We only had 50 shells for gun and 100 shells for the rifle.

Here's some information about animals at Serpo:

- The creature-like crew was not aggressive, only defended team members. The Eben guides directed them to a sound (a very high tone) that scared them. These creatures were seen in several places on the planet. Some were bigger than others, but they were not all aggressive.

- Only the creatures like snakes were aggressive, which made us kill one. Snakes-like creations were only in one place, and they never saw another one.

- As for birds, there were two species of flying creatures. One resembled a hawk, and the other looked like a big flying squirrel. Even you were not aggressive, and you could never catch anyone for examination.

- As for insects, they had small species, similar to cockroaches, but even smaller. They were harmless, but they got into the equipment of the team. They have a hard carapace with a soft inner body. The team never saw any flying insects such as flies, wasps, etc. Several other small insects were found and identified.

There are four photos available at Serpo:

- One photo shows the entire team standing next to the Eben House, with several Eben in the background;

- Another photo shows our new team house in the north;

- Another photo shows the village of Eben in the north;

- The last photo shows a group of Ebony playing their "football" game.

5.2. Civilization of the Ebony

Write 4

The age of Ebenian civilization is estimated at roughly 10.000 years. They come here from another planet, they do not come from Serpa. The original home planet of Eben was threatened by extreme volcanic activity. The Eben had to relocate to Serpo to protect their civilization. This happened about 5000 years ago.

About 3000 years ago, the Ebony had a major interplanetary battle with another race. The ebony lost many thousands of members in the battle. The ebony then completely ruled out all hostility, since then they had never wished for another war. Ebony have been traveling through space for the last 2000 years. They first visited the country about 2000 years ago.

Why does the Eben population only have about 650 000 members? The Ebenians have a very stable, structured civilization. Every man has a partner. Reproduction is allowed (in a similar sexual way as we do), but a certain number of children are strictly limited. Our team has never seen a family with more than two children.

The Eben civilization was so organized that it planned the birth of each child, at a distance from each other, to allow for proper social involvement in civilization. Ebony children grow up in super quality, compared to Earth children. Our team followed live births, visited by an Ebony doctor, and followed the child's development over time as a family member. The children grew up at an alarming rate.

Ebenians have scientists, doctors and technicians. There was only one educational device on the planet. If you have been selected, you have visited this device and found out what is the best and most suitable topic for education. Although it was very difficult to judge or measure Eben intelligence, our team estimated that their IQ at all reached 165.

The Eben had no single ruler. There was the "Board of Governors", which was appointed by the whole team. This council directed all matters on the planet. It seemed that the members of the council had been in office for a long time. Given that the Eben were not old - or our team at least failed to find out their aging rate, it was hard to judge the age of each member of society.

There was probably 100 in different villages or places inhabited by Eben. The Eben used only a small part of their planet. They mined minerals in the remote areas of the planet, and had a large area of growing crops in the southern part of the planet, near the water. Our team has found that this area also has a hydropower plant.

The Eben have developed a certain type of electric and propulsion system. Our team did not know it, and I do not think we really understand it. They could somehow get into a vacuum and draw a huge amount of energy from there.

The housing of our team, consisting of several small buildings, we had a small box at our disposal, as a source of electricity. This box supplied all the energy our team needed. The irony is that the power supply that our team imported only worked using their power supply.

Eben also dies. Our team members have experienced some deaths, some after the accident and other natural causes. Eben bury bodies similar to us. Our team recorded two air crashes when their plane crashed on the planet.

The Ebonians worship the Supreme Being. It seems to be an entity concerning the whole of the Universe. They perform daily rituals, usually at the end of the first working period. They have buildings, like our church, where they go to worship her.

Our team left the Earth in the huge Eben spacecraft and fled directly to Serpo for approximately nine months, according to our time measurements. On our return, we traveled the newer Eben boat, so we estimated the return time for seven months.

How can Ebony travel so fast? I haven't written anything about it yet. Earth scientists believe that because the Ebony culture is of a single race, their progress has evolved faster than a civilization consisting of different races, different languages, and so on.

Why is there only 650 000 individuals in the Ebene civilization? Our team once again found the answer - besides, in the Great War, many hundreds of thousands of Eben had died. Scientific specialists on social behavior on Earth believe that the Eben civilization is organized to suit their own needs. Our team found on their planet only limited commodity options for nutrition. Large buildings were used to grow food crops. Soil is poor here on many minerals. Ebenu uses organic farming to produce food. Perhaps Ebens are afraid that if they fill a planet, they can not provide nutrition for their citizens.

As for Eben culture, they have a kind of musical entertainment. Music sounds like rhythmic tones. They also listened to some kind of singing. Eben are good dancers. After a certain working hours, they celebrated with ritual dance. Ebenes created a circle and danced, listening to singing and music played on bells and drums or something similar.

They had no televisions, radios, or anything like that. The ebony played a game, something like football, but with a bigger ball. The goal was to kick the ball across the field into the goal. The game had very special rules and was played for a long time. They also had another game, mostly played by children, the game consisted of creating groups of Ebony groups. They seemed to really enjoy the game, but our team had little idea about the game.

Although the Ebony civilization had no televisions, radios, etc., each Ebony had a small gadget on his belt. This device issued commands to perform a certain task, reports on ongoing events, etc. The device had a screen similar to a TV monitor, but in 3D format. Our team brought one of these devices. (I think we could compare it to a handheld today.)

For a time, the Eben had fought enemies. Members of our team estimated that the war lasted approximately 100 years, but again according to our time measurement. The war was fought with the help of beam weapons developed by both civilizations. The Eben finally managed to destroy the enemy planet and kill the remaining enemy forces. Ebenians have warned us that several other alien races in our galaxy are also hostile. The Eben are distancing from these races. Interview documents never give names to enemies, probably because they no longer exist.

Ebenians live in a very simple society. The Eben family consists of men, women and at least one child. Our team has found several families with up to four children. Later, we learned that families cared for Eben children who were either on the move (space exploration) or died.

Our team witnessed an accident in which four Ebenas were killed. At the site of the crash, the Ebenes performed a ritual. Ebenes first brought the bodies to the medical facility for examination. Members of our team have always had the opportunity to accompany Eben, except for the rest periods when the Ebenes closed to privacy.

We saw sadness in the eyes of the Ebony as their loved ones died. Later, after the last work cycle, the Ebens held a funeral ceremony, at least that was what our team had come up with. The ebony wrapped the body in white cloth and poured various liquids over it. A large number of Ebony stood in a circle singing. This tune also applauded the members of our team. The ceremony lasted a relatively long time. Finally, the bodies were placed in metal coffins and buried outside the village in a remote location. After the funeral, the Ebony held a banquet. Large tables full of food were prepared, all eating, dancing and playing games. As our team saw it, they did this every time one of the Ebony died.

Every Ebony family lives a simple life. Their homes are built mostly of clay and some material similar to wood and some metals. All houses look the same. It seemed to us that it was like something from the southwest, they looked like pigsty. The interior of the house consists of four rooms. One room is a bedroom, where all family members sleep in one room on mats, then there is a dining room with kitchen, living room (the largest room in the house) and a small bathroom.

This brought us interesting findings. Ebony have no physiological need to release body waste like we do. The ebony had small collection areas in their body waste facility. The Ebony body was extremely efficient in processing all ingested food. Their body waste therefore consisted of only a small amount of faeces, similar to kittens.

Our team members have never seen urine excretion in Eben. On the contrary, our wastes consisted of a large amount of faecal matter and urine. The Eben had to dig a large collection pit for our excrement.

Eben our team stayed. Food, as I have already mentioned, was a problem for our members. Our team first used their C-rations in a military style, but eventually had to go to Eben's food. Eben had different foods, especially vegetables. Our team found potato-like crops, but they tasted differently. They also had some sort of lettuce, radish and tomatoes. They were the only crops similar to ours.

Eben had other cultivated vegetables. They were peculiar round oats with long stems, like grapevines. Ebenes cooked and ate a large portion of the crop. They also had some sort of white fluid that we thought was milk first. After tasting, however, our team realized it was different, both in taste and in content. The liquid came from a small tree that was located in the northern part of the planet. Ebenes literally touched this tree for this liquid. They seemed to have some pleasure when they were drinking it. Members of our team have never had a real taste for this liquid.

Eben prepared for us food. They made some dish in the pot, which seemed to our team extremely tasty. However, we used plenty of salt and pepper to flavor it. They also had something like our bread. It was unleavened bread and tasted quite well, but it caused us extreme constipation. We had to drink plenty of water to spend it. The only common dish that tasted us and Eben was fruit. Ebonians ate a great deal of fruit. Fruits differed from what we knew were pretty sweet. Some fruits tasted like melons, while others tasted like apples.

Another problem was water. The food water on Serpo contained a number of unknown chemicals that our team found here. Finally, we had to cook the water before we drank it. When the Ebenes saw it, they planted a large plant that processed the water for our team.

In the final report of our team, written by the commander (Colonel), he states that during the exchange period (he was careful not to use the exact time period), the team was able to communicate with Ebena after about 50% of all time. Some things we've never been able to tell them.

Our team brought with them softball equipment for sports activities. The ebony watched our game and laughed out loud. (Eben's laughter sounded like a high-pitched roar.) Eventually, the Ebens began to play the game, but they never got used to catching the ball before it hit the ground. Our team also played field football. The ebony watched the game again and then played it themselves. But again, as with softball, Ebeny never thought they could kick the ball before it hit the ground!

Although our team members valued Eben's privacy, our team was allowed to watch them. Even as we walked around, we could see Eben's sexual activity as well. Both men and women had sexual organs similar to ours and engaged in sexual intercourse. Frequency of sexual activity was not as common as it is in our society. I would rather believe that they were doing this act rather for reproduction than for pleasure.

5.3 Problems

Write 4

Our scientists have failed to understand how the Serpo orbit can revolve around two suns at a certain distance. Eventually, they discovered some issues related to this particular system, as their physics differed from our laws. Some questions remained about how our team measured orbit and other calculations, in the absence of a stable time base.

For some reason, and I do not think it was determined, our timekeepers at Serpo did not work. Because of this, you can hardly understand the work done by our team members without timekeepers. They had to come up with an alternative method of measuring speeds, orbits,

Try to solve this problem physically on Earth without time! So you can see that our team did the best they could do with the tools we had and the difficulties they had in trying to make scientific calculations. It is difficult for every scientist studied on Earth to understand different physics in other solar systems or on other planets.

The main problem was Kepler's laws of planetary motion. Our team knew these laws. We had some of the best military scientists in the team. But if you apply Kepler's laws, it takes time and our team could only measure time in a conventional way. It was found that Kepler's laws did not apply to this solar system. One of the things our scientists had learned on earth was that Earth's physical laws can not be applied in general. We estimated the age of Serpo for about three billion years. Both suns were about five billion years old, but only our estimation.

Although our team spent more than ten years (Earth time) on Serpo and nearby planets, we did not have any portable computers to store data. We only had two answering machines responsible for writing data. Our team has recognized that much data has been lost or documented.

In terms of time: Team members had several timekeepers, such as a wrist watch, but without a battery, as indicated in the briefing data. Time periods were running, but there were no references to the exact time because Eben days were longer, twilight and dawn were also longer and we did not have any calendar records. We used time units to calculate the motion, such as the timing of two suns in the system. We also calculated the time between working hours and rest time. After a while, our team dropped from time slots and used Eben's time scales. The team broke up with the calendar they brought in for ten years.

After 24 months, we lost track of time when it came to the calendar because we couldn't count the days correctly compared to the days on Earth. When we flew off Earth, we set Earth time. However, we only had a watch with a battery, and when the battery ran out, the watch stopped and we forgot to replace the battery. As a result, we have lost Earth time. The team brought a large number of batteries with them, but they all ran out after five years. The ebony did not have a comparable product to our batteries.

We also brought electric shavers, electric kettles, electric heaters, IBM electric typewriter, scientific calculators, conventional and scientific logarithmic rulers, data loggers, three telescopes of various sizes, and various conventional and electrical gauges.

The list goes on and on. We have done everything we have allowed us to measure. The Ebenians considered the equipment of our team. The weight limit was 4500 pounds or 9000 pounds. As for food, the team had C-packages in a military style. We have carefully planned everything for 10 for a stay.

Write 9

Selected team members carried small liquid nitrogen pressure vessels. The Eben were vulnerable to extreme cold. If the Eben were hostile, we could neutralize them and use liquid nitrogen when trying to escape. Team members were instructed to spray the fabric directly into the face of the Eben. It has been found that Ebe 1 is vulnerable to this.

As for liquid nitrogen, it was placed in special pressure vessels, just like today. The analytics document does not specify the type of container, but each member has a small container. During the return debate, however, the team found Eben so friendly that each team member quickly dropped these bottles of liquid nitrogen when we arrived at Serpo. The Eben knew the team had this substance, but they had never doubted why they had brought it.

Each member of the gun and rifle team had the same weapon. The Ebenians recognized that they were weapons, but they never again doubted why the members of the team were. All team members never wore weapons, except the Serpo survey, and then only some team members.

Write 10

People could not get used to the sound of Eben's speech, but they had to train to endure it. It took a long time for someone to study the language of the Eben to release that sound. Some sounds were similar to high-tone sounds. What is important is that this could be done.

Now consider this: Although each team member was familiar with the Ebony language, it was difficult for team members to remember each tone and use different sounds and tones. Two linguists from the team practiced and learned basic communication with Eben according to the documents I read.

Ebeni had learned English, but had difficulty spelling words. For example, according to the documentation, Ebeni could not say "L". So if Eben tried to say "look," it came out as "hurt".

About four months passed between the first message sent by our team from Earth in the summer of 1952 and the first message received from the Ebony. We cannot know when the Ebony received our message and how long it took them to study it, and how long it took them to send it back. The message was in the language of the Ebony, with loud reading and sound, intonation, etc.

One Ebony who traveled with us through space could speak English better than others who also learned it. This Ebony was codenamed "Noah." Each time the team had to share important information, they turned to him. But during the second part of our stay at Serpo, Noah had to go on a mission. Until then, however, our two linguists were able to communicate better than the other members of the team. Our team had an Ebony communication device with them, which contained only about 500 English words. It was not enough for full-fledged communication. The team therefore refused to use this facility at the beginning of the stay.

Write 6

It took our linguists for a few years to correctly create a way of communicating with Ebena. The Eben Group has learned to understand English and several other languages on Earth.

This group was actually just tourists, as our team called them. Team members considered themselves tourists. Though the team could not always understand their reactions, Eben's team understood tourists for most of the time. During this time the exchange of information was simple.

Ebeni, they were not able to explain everything to us, so they used the form of sign language to point to something or something they wanted to explain and carry with their hands. Two members of our team finally understood this communication method, but during this period of time we did not get much information from the Eben.

Tourists (there were very few who understood English, only about 30) did not fully understand all the words in the Ebony language. Later, the Ebony called our language too complicated and difficult to understand. Finally, we found that the Eben intonation language is also very complicated and extremely difficult to translate. We were able to record their language acoustically, then play it and listen to every acoustic dialect and every kind of tone.

In the end, we have roughly translated their language. We started with simple objects, such as the flying device we traveled around the planet. Then with objects such as houses, roads, food, clothes, their sun, their planet, etc. Although we did some form of communication, it was only approximate and not always useful for our team when something complicated.

For example, when the first member of our team died in an accident, it was hard to communicate with Ebena. He died immediately because he was not provided with any medical care. Our two doctors examined his body and found that the injury corresponded to a random fall. Initially, the Eben never interfered with our care or offered to provide any medical care to us.

However, as soon as the Ebony, otherwise very good and caring people, saw that our team members were crying, the Ebony entered and offered to try some medical help. Although our doctors knew that the colleague was medically dead, they allowed the Ebens to try their own medical help. Most of them communicated either through sign language or speaking if they understood English.

The Ebeners transported our member's body to a remote location in the largest community. They took him to a big building, apparently a hospital or a health center. The Eben used a large examination table for a body scan. They ran down the body with a large blue-green beam. One of them was watching the data that appeared on the screen that looked like a television monitor. The data were in Ebene written language and our team could not understand.

However, there was a graphic record, similar to heart rate curves. The straight line did not change. Our doctors understood that this meant the same thing as their equipment - the heart did not pound. The ebony began to give an infusion. This has been repeated several times. Eventually, the heart began to beat. But our doctors knew that the internal organs had been damaged, but they could not explain it perfectly to the Ebony. The ebony also recognized it after a while, and as a sign of mourning, they placed both hands on their chests and bowed. Our team members knew that meant the body was dead and nothing could be done.

The ebony showed affection for our team. During the last working period, the Ebony performed a ceremony for a dead member of our team, using the same ceremony when one of the Ebony died. Our team did their own ceremony, which was also attended by the Ebony. They were extremely curious about our religious ceremonies. One member of the team, who was once a minister, performed the ceremony for the dead. Our team was grateful for the Ebony attitude towards our dead friend.

5.4 Conclusions

Write 5

As for the reasons why some team members stayed at Serpo, the report reported that the team members who stayed here did so on a voluntary basis. They have fallen in love with the Eben culture and their planets. They were not ordered to come back. Communications with the remaining crew members lasted until 1988. No other information was received from these team members. Those two who died on Serpo were put in a coffin and buried. Their bodies were returned to Earth. All team members received a large dose of radiation during their stay at Serpo. Most team members therefore died later as a result of a radiation-related illness.

President Bill Clinton wanted to continue the exchange program, but others in his administration thought it would be a mistake and persuaded him. The program was completed in 1994 with Ebe 5. All members of the team were carefully watched by a special DIA branch. The last member of the team survived until 2002, Florida.
