Porn control opens the way to censorship of opinions

"Pornography disturbs childhood," said British Prime Minister David Cameron and plans to block porn on the Internet. If blocking is effective, ISPs will be forced to use the procedures currently applied in some fundamental Muslim countries.

In order to block porn, a so-called "whitelist" must be introduced. If only "bad" pages were blocked, the measures would be ineffective (this is well known in the countries where the Internet is censored: Iran, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, ..).

Cameron calls for further legislative measures to limit human freedoms. That Cameron would like to adapt the British system to Sharia law? This probably does not, even though the motif is very similar - the establishment of a totalitarian "one right opinion". Along with the application of surveillance systems, which, in addition to the United States, are used by British secret services and other countries, the main motive is to control and influence the views of the population.

The Internet represents a free alternative to existing mediocracy. Today's ruling elites today have to face the ever-growing population dissatisfaction with an existing system that is no longer able to maintain social peace. The Internet is a major obstacle to building totalitarian power that the ruling structures are trying to put in place to maintain the system. Therefore, they are constantly looking for pretexts to regulate the Internet. When ACTA, which was supposed to limit the Internet under the pretext of protecting part of the scattered media business, was looking for other, "publicly" acceptable ways of introducing censorship.

Pirates, who are well aware of the technological nature of the Internet, know that censorship of the Internet under any pretext opens up a censorship of inconvenient views. For example, in the Czech Republic, the Pirate Party was ordered by the censor decision to withdraw the electoral clip parodying the corruption of parliamentary parties on the pretext that the clip threatens LEGO's commercial interests (the animation used figures reminiscent of figures used by some toy manufacturers). We firmly believe that British citizens are not restricted and will prevent the application of planned measures.
