Richard Doty: We blamed journalists to deny the existence of ET

Richar Doty was a Special Agent of the US Air Force Special Investigation Agency (AFOSI). After more than 8 years, it was his specialization everything about the presence of aliens on Earth. He worked in a New Mexico area at a military base Kirtland Air Force Base And also on Nellis Air Fore Base (known to people as Area 51).

Richar Doty: When I worked in Kirtland, we had a whole team of people we called swindlers (swindlers). They were able to recruit anyone for our cause. And this group went out and recruited people - mostly journalists, because they were the ones who knew some things first. We had every news agency, television and radio station in the Albuquerque-Santa Fe area under our thumb.

We were in control of a woman who worked in Albuquerque at the national branch of NBC. She was willing to lift absolutely anything. She told us everything she was going to do. In this way, some reports could be stopped before they were released. It was not just aliens. It was about anything the army was interested in - especially when it came to espionage or otherwise - about leakage of information. If the recruits learned something that might interest us, they told us. We had high-profile film producers and directors among them who were able to ensure that some things were not broadcast.

We gave them money. It was one of the most effective ways to get those people. We paid them. We paid them a lot and in cash - and they didn't have to tax it. Some of those payments were really huge.

We always had the money. We had different funds for that. When you were doing an operation - let's say a counterintelligence operation - and you needed to $5000 (approx 110000 CZK), so you got it. Just said, yeah all right, here's your account number. Someone else put the money on the bill and I just picked them. Sometimes we have a voucher or something else in the same sense. I never asked where the money was, but I'm sure it had to go from government funds. Congress has approved many black operations (black ops), which required large black funds. So it had to go (probably) from here. How exactly the money was distributed and who decided it; it is above the limit of my salary rating. [It was done by someone who was in a higher paid position.]
