Star map from ancient Nineveh (more than 3.300 years before our date).

In the picture you can see a reproduction of the Sumerian star map discovered in the late 19th century in the basement of the Ashurbanipal library.

It has long been thought to be an Assyrian record. However, computer analysis showed that the plate depicts the starry sky in Mesopotamia around 3.300 BC. Thanks to this, it can be stated that the record is of much older origin from the Sumerian period.

The board can be considered as astrolabe of its kind.

We can ask ourselves what extraordinary abilities, skills and knowledge the old Summers had over 5.000 flights before?
