Below we bring you an interview with Edit Tichá - a great and inspiring therapist of Craniosacral Therapy and Tomáš Reinbergr - a wonderfully calm young man who will introduce us to Vedic meditation.

Vedic meditation

Edit Silent: I met Tomas a few months ago when he ordered craniosacral therapy. I was expecting a classic client with physical problems. But a tall, slender man sat down in a white leather chair with a calm look and a clear intention. It was very clear to me that I was dealing with someone who is not looking but knows. That's how I met Tomas Reinberger. We got to his resources and meditation relatively quickly. Today, my husband and I are his students. We share together the field of Vedic meditations, which heals and unites us. Tomas inspired me. Not only me, over a hundred people have passed through the Vedic center, and more are coming. You can be among them, because we know everyone somewhere deep down, we just need to find a way. I'm opening one of them for you right now.

Edit Silent: Hi Tom, viewers of the Sueneé Universe recently had the opportunity to see you in the video where you presented Vedic meditation, the direction you have taken into your life so much that you have become a teacher. Will you introduce yourself to our readers as well?

Tomas Reinberger: Thank you for your interest in me. I have been meditating for 10 years and I like to show a different approach to meditation. An approach in which it is not difficult, we do not fight against ideas, we do not need absolute peace. An approach intended for normal people, not monks, not for seclusion. I also like to show to myself that meditation can be perfectly combined and enriched with the life of an entrepreneur, an athlete, a father. I like to connect worlds, seeming opposites. Vedic meditation is not ruled out with anything. He will give everyone what he needs. More health, more energy or more peace and a fuller experience of sensory life.

Edit Silent: Entrepreneur, athlete, father, vše it's all you too….

Tomas Reinberger: Yes, I organize the largest amateur league in the Czech Republic www.vaseliga.cz - squash, tennis, badminton, etc. Learning meditation is also my passion. I am 36, I live in Modřany and I have two sons (6 years and 2 years). I play beach, practice yoga and run ultramarathons. I like to read, I have been meditating twice a day for 2 years, I am enthusiastic about Ayurveda, I teach yoga and I like experiments, from hardening, through running barefoot to fasting and staying in the dark. I like to pass on what I have tested on myself to others.

Edit Silent: Children, family, business, sports, yoga, Ayurveda, where in such a busy man was the idea of meditation born?

Tomas Reinberger: I've always been interested in things between heaven and earth and our inner world. And when my mother-in-law once recommended a practical technique to an Australian teacher, I followed an internal call. Right at the first meditation, I felt a feeling of inner peace, it escaped me quickly, and at the end I felt that my senses were fresher. I was fascinated and the fascination has not disappeared since.

Edit Silent: So you started meditating regularly and you continue for 10 years. There are a number of "sessions" called meditation in the Czech Republic. What is the essence of Vedic meditation?

Tomas Reinberger: Yes, exactly. The word is widely used today and there are many things hidden under it. My definition of meditation is the systematic immersion in a state of softer, calmer thinking or even complete cessation of thinking. In this so-called state of clear consciousness, something very special happens. We are consciousness, but we are not aware of anything specific. There is no thought, only clear consciousness. The mind and body are in the deepest peace we are capable of. In Vedic meditation, we systematically return to this point by means of a mantra that we think in our mind. This happens without effort, because the mantra is liked by the mind and it easily follows it to calm down beyond sleep. I assign the mantra to each individual so that it fits him. Each of us has a slightly different temperament, a slightly different mind.

Edit Silent: Meditation without effort is probably something that a lot of people like more than the long, rigid search for immobility in us.

Tomas Reinberger: Yes, a lot of course participants say that with this approach, where everything that comes in handy and where nothing is fought, it's really much easier than what they tried before. We sit with back support, comfortably, calmly on a chair or couch. Thoughts don't matter, noise doesn't matter, it doesn't even matter when we fall asleep. We meditate ideally for 20 minutes - this turned out to be the optimal time for this technique, when we gain a lot of energy and at the same time get a lot of stress out of the body, but at the same time it doesn't shoot us into space yet.

Edit Silent: That sounds very pleasant, I guess the power of this meditation will be in regularity more than in difficulty ?. In the introduction, I wrote that you not only perform this method of meditation, but you also teach. How is such a thing done?

Tomas Reinberger: Yes, the benefits do not come from completing the course, but from the regular use of technology. The difference with my course, which lasts 4 evenings, is that I will teach you a complete technique that you can use all your life. So you don't need to visit me regularly as a teacher or guru. The course consists of 4 consecutive evenings, usually from Sunday to Wednesday, always from 19 pm to 21 pm. The first evening is an initiation, or handing over a personal mantra one on one, followed by the first meditation with the whole group. Since then, you basically know how to use the technique and you can meditate alone at home for the next few days. In the evening from Monday to Wednesday, we will always explain the experiences, answer questions, discuss together and discuss a lot of theoretical points associated with this technique. For example, how stress is released and how the body and mind work in Vedic mediation.

Edit Silent: Have you been trained as a teacher?

Tomas Reinberger: My teacher training lasted 2 years and maybe just the introductory ceremony took me a month to learn. I sing in Sanskrit with him and it's something.

Edit Silent: Introductory ceremony? It sounds sacred š will you bring it closer to us?

Tomas Reinberger: It is the so - called Puja - Indian ceremony as a thank you to the masters from whom this technique came to me. It is a non-religious practice, but it comes from ancient India, from the Vedic civilization, and therefore it has such an Indian flavor. Basically, in Sanskrit I sing the names of the masters, I thank them and thus I undertake to pass the technique unchanged. To do this, I place gifts on the altar such as flowers and fruits (they bring the participant), rice, sandalwood, waving a candle, camphor, water, etc. I always say that who likes ceremonies, it is a beautiful ceremony. And if you don't, it's short.

Edit Silent: Do I feel a sacred duty to ask you, when are you going to participate in these seminars again in your life? The Korona, with its limitations, certainly made it impossible for a while to learn how the Vedic Center was doing with plans for the coming weeks?

Tomas Reinberger: Fortunately, I can teach again, so the next full-fledged course is from 6 to 9.12. (If you would like to see me first, I'm doing such a tasting workshop on November 30.11. It is also possible to take part in a video conference via Skype.) Applications and other information for both events are available at www.vedskecentrum.cz .

Edit Silent: Tom, thanks a lot for the interview, for a lot of people you were a motivation for everyday inner work, some were just waiting for this post. I wish you success in your work, family and your students.

Tomas Reinbergr: Edit thank you, pleasure on my part. And I would love to meet anyone who feels that I can help him grow his consciousness - to a fuller life, to more health and contentment coming from within.
