Experts studying the US archives claim that in January 1947 the US Navy began the operation Highjumpwhich she disguised as an ordinary scientific expedition. A naval squadron headed for the shores of Antarctica: an aircraft carrier and 13 other military ships. In total, more than 4 people with a six-month supply of food and 25 aircraft. But soon after Queen Maud's arrival in Earth, Admiral Richard Byrd, who commanded the squadron, was unexpectedly ordered from Washington to suspend the operation and return the ships to base. However, scientists have managed to take more than 49 aerial photographs of the coast.

The beginning of the US Navy's expedition coincided with the end of the interrogation of the former commanders of the German submarines U-530 and U-977, which were carried out by employees of the American and British secret services. The commander of U-530 testified that his submarine on April 13, 1945 sailed from the base in Kiel. When they reached the coast of Antarctica, 16 people from the crew allegedly created an ice cave, in which they stored boxes containing relics of the Third Reich, including documents and personal belongings of A. Hitler. The operation was codenamed "Valkyrie-2". After its completion on June 10, 1945, U-530 openly entered the Argentine port of Mar del Plata, where it resigned. The submarine U-977 under the leadership of Heinz Schaeffer was also in New Swabia.

Admiral Richard Byrd (1947)

A year later, the magazine "Brizant" published in Western Europe reported shocking details of the operation. The Americans were reportedly exposed to air attack, lost one ship and four fighter jets. The journal refers to soldiers who dared to give an open conversation and talk about some "flying discs that have emerged from underwater“And attacked them; o special atmospheric phenomena that caused psychological disruption in the participants of the expedition.

The magazine contained a snippet of the report by Admiral Byrd's Head of Operation, which he spoke at a secret meeting of the Special Commission investigating the case. "It is imperative that the United States take security action against enemy fighters flying from the polar territories"- said the alleged admiral. "In the event of a new war, America may be exposed to attack from the polar regions and the ability to fly at incredible speeds!"

In 1950, after the death of R. Byrd, references to a certain admiral's notebook appeared in the press. The military commander's remarks show that at the time of the operation in Antarctica, he was forced to land a plane with strange flying "similar to British helmets" during a survey of the icy continent. As Byrd got off the plane, he was approached by a tall blue-eyed blonde who, in broken English, handed him a call to the US government to suspend nuclear tests. It turned out that the mysterious unknown is a representative of a colony created by Nazi Germany in Antarctica. If we believe the talk, the United States later reached an agreement with hiding German refugees in exchange for advanced technology. In return, the German settlement was to be supplied with the necessary raw materials.

"The German Navy is proud to have created an inaccessible fort at the other end of the world for the Führer."

It should be added that in the 1980s, one of the Western secret services withheld one confidential letter from the aforementioned Schaeffer to another German diver, Bernhard, who was apparently about to publish his memories of the war. The letter was dated 1 June 1983 and contained the following points:Dear Villa, I was thinking about publishing your manuscript on U-530. All three ships (U-977, U-530 and U-465) involved in the operation are now sleeping peacefully at the bottom of the Atlantic. Isn't it better to let them rest? Think about it, old friend! We all swore to keep the secret, we did nothing wrong, we just obeyed orders and fought for the survival of our beloved Germany. Therefore, you better think about it. Wouldn't it be better to present everything as fiction? What will you achieve by telling the truth about our mission? And who will you hurt? Think about it…"
