The Vatican expressed deep concern over 1500 with the old Bible, which was found in Turkey, and rejects the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The Vatican authorities therefore call on the Turkish government to allow its experts to explore the contents of a found book that has been discovered and kept secret in Turkey since 2000.

The reports say the Turkish government has transferred the disputed book to an ethnographic museum in Ankara accompanied by police officers.

The book contains the Gospel of Barnabas, the disciple of Christ, and says that Jesus was not crucified, but He ascended alive to the heavens. St. Barnabas belonged to early Christian disciples and is considered the founder of the Cypriot Church.

He also says that Jesus was not the Son of God, but the prophet who proclaimed the word of God.

The text maintains a vision of Islam similar to that of Christian teaching in the New Testament. The Old Book also implies the coming of Islamic Prophet Muhammad.

It is handwritten in Syrian, the dialect of Aramaic, and says that this language was the native language of Jesus Christ. Some experts and church dignitaries believe that it is truly the original.
