What are the Dead Sea Scrolls and what is their meaning?

Dead Sea Scrolls are the oldest known biblical manuscripts. These scrolls and scrap fragments discovered in 1947 young goat bedouins near the ancient settlement of Kumrán. One of the boys threw a stone into a hole in the cliff, and heard the sound of crushing ceramics. Together with his friends he entered the cave where he found a number of clay jugs containing leather and papyrus scrolls.

A vintage antique vendor purchased the coils and sold it to various private collectors and institutions. The discovery screamed when it was discovered that they were subjects over two millennia. Bedouin treasure hunters and archaeologists have discovered tens of thousands of other scroll fragments in ten nearby caves. Altogether almost 900 scrolls were found.

Dead Sea Scrolls are important because they contain real history

Many scrolls have since been translated. They contain fragments of all Old Testament books except the Ester. What is remarkable is the consistency of the newer versions of the Old Testament and those of the earlier millennium scrolls. Some of the information contained in these scrolls are ratified by recent archaeological excavations, which supports the theory that the Old Testament is not a mere myth or metaphor but describes historical reality.

For example, the book Isaiah speaks about Assyrian palaces, which were discovered only 1840. The remarkable historical precision of Isaiah's book is also confirmed by the fact that there are many historical facts about the Assyrian.

Does that mean that the rest of the Old Testament is also a record of history? Could the stories of human creation, the Eden Garden, the flood of the world, the Nephilim, and the Ark of the Convention also be true?

Who is the creator of the Dead Sea Scrolls?

Most scientists believe the scrolls have been written by a group of Essayans living in Kumran. New research, however, suggests that many of the Dead Sea scrolls can come from elsewhere. These scrolls could have been written by a variety of Jewish groups, some of which around 70 nl fled before the Romans who destroyed the legendary Jerusalem temple. Could these scrolls be the lost treasure of the Jerusalem temple? Maybe yes maybe no.

New discoveries

Since the discovery of the first ten caves there have been found twenty more caves, most of which have not yet been archaeologically explored. Many are threatened with treasure hunters being robbed and robbed. It is possible that newly found caves contain other historically significant scrolls, coins, treasures and artifacts.

In December 2016, archaeologist Dr. is going to Qumran with a team approved by the Israeli Antiquities Authority. Aaron Judkins to conduct an archaeological survey in one of these new caves.

"We believe this new cave in Kumran is an ancient warehouse where artefacts, coins and scroll can be stored. Only excavations will reveal what is hidden here. The Israeli authorities have given us permission to dig in Kumran, the famous lodge of Dead Sea Scrolls. For me, this project is an extraordinary opportunity to work with the lead archeologist Dr. Randall Price and archeologist Bruce Hall. Kumran is a world famous and historically famous place where most of the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 1947. Excavations are permitted in the short period from the end of December 2016 to the first weeks of January 2017. "

Judkins, with his unconventional thought and an attempt at historical truth, was nicknamed the "black sheep of archeology." His latest projects, exploring the area of so-called forbidden archeology, were expeditions and a documentary film about Noah and Ars, as well as the research of elongated skulls from Peru and Bolivia. He is currently seeking funding to enable him to participate in the Dead Sea Cave research. His fundraising page contains numerous updates and videos about what has been discovered in this area and what Judkins hopes to find here. It will be interesting to follow his survey and find out what is buried under the influence of time.
