Stanton friedman byl investigator and nuclear physicist, thanks to which in 1947 the so - called "Roswell incident" became known all over the world. Friedman spoke about the issue in front of the US House of Representatives and was later inducted into the UFO Hall of Fame in Roswell, New Mexico. The famous ufologist died on May 13, 2019 at the age of 84. It happened Monday night at Pearson Airport in Toronto as he returned home to Fredericton from his last lecture in Columbus, Ohio. The cause of death was not disclosed.

Though he had never seen a UFO in person, he worked for half a century as a leading authority with the people he called "UFO debunkers." He believed he had "more than enough evidence" of the existence of extraterrestrials, but he kept a dose of skepticism until the evidence was even more evident. Much of the data he received remained buried in US government documents.

“I've never seen a flying saucer or an alien. But as a physicist, I have been chasing neutrons and gamma rays for many years, and I've never seen them either, ”he told The Canadian Press in 2007.“ I have never seen Tokyo, but I believe it exists. ”

Investigator at Roswell

Friedman has written dozens of articles on UFOs and has authored or co-authored several books on the subject. Kathleen Marden, co-author of his three books on UFOs, explains why Friedman was so fond of UFO debunkers:

"When he knew the truth, he said to her," she said from her home near Orlando, Florida on Tuesday. "He was the first and chief investigator of the Roswell accident. Stanton was the man who did his job. He always criticized the debunkers because they didn't do their own. ”

In an interview before the International UFO Congress in 2011, Friedman said:

"There is a difference between a skeptic and a debunker, and fortunately I think we have more debunkers than skeptics," Friedman said. “The skeptic says,“ You know, I don't know. Let's look at the evidence. "Debunker says," I know. There is no evidence to study. ”

This passionate researcher understood that the people who saw UFOs would not often say this because of the fear of ridicule, and tried to "break down" this ridicule.

"Despite the false claims of a small group of noisy negatives, a large proportion of people accept ET's reality, even though they don't think so," he said.

He often said that he was not a "ufologist". After a lifetime of study, he clearly believed that the Earth was being visited by an "intelligently controlled alien spacecraft". He believed that for more than 60 years, several government officials have concealed this information on ET, which he called the "greatest millennium story". Friedman traveled around the world to his 80 years, even though he "officially retired" last year. His lectures "Flying saucers are real" have been heard in hundreds of colleges and professional groups in other countries, the US, Canada and 20. His daughter Melissa Friedman said she continued to teach because he loved UFO calls. He was the father of four children and left the 44-year-old wife Marilyn.

Friedman's main conclusions

After five decades of work, Friedman has come to some important conclusions:

1 There is clear evidence that planet Earth is being visited by intelligence-driven extraterrestrial spacecraft. In other words, SOME UFOs are extraterrestrial spacecraft. Most of them aren't interested in me.

2 It was a camouflage: "There is no doubt that some members of the United States and overseas governments have actively concealed the truth about these visits. It's a real "Watergate space affair." "He was absolutely convinced of his truth, even though he had never seen UFOs for his life: there are no good arguments against these conclusions, but only people who have never considered relevant evidence."

Although he had never seen a UFO himself, he was convinced that they existed and was a convincing speaker. According to the Daily Star: "He won $ 1,000 in the bet on the existence of secret UFO documents with skeptic Philip Klass, and also won several debates with UFO hoaxers."
