Open space is an arrangement of a workplace. It is a shared office without partitions. Will the partitions relax and disappear, but will the mind also relax? This trend of open-space offices has become a big hit at Silicon Halley. From there, it spread like wildfire, after which the inner walls of many large and small companies disappeared.

Open space - trend?

On the one hand, this trend is suitable for improving communication, transparency, creativity and productivity. On the other hand, it takes a loss of privacy, the possibility of informal communication between colleagues, playing music out loud or adapting the workspace to your image. The prevailing feeling in the open-office is that you must not disturb others and that someone is still looking over your shoulder to see if you are doing something. useful. At the same time, you hear every cough or phone call on the other side of the huge office. It is easy for a person to become a prisoner in an unwanted shell (even if he is in a large space) with headphones on.

Some employees try to address this privacy deficit by working in part from home where they feel more in your. Among other things, they said that at home they felt more freedom and space for rest. This helped them to better focus on problem solving.

During an informal conversation of employees in an American company The Bold Italics (TBI), about the advantages and disadvantages of the open-office, it became clear that almost everyone worked from home naked. Therefore, the situation has been assessed jointly so that the problem is not so much in the absence of walls, as in the overcoming of obstacles that have not yet been eliminated.

Experiment - one day a week naked

A business psychologist, David Taylor, came up with the idea of employees working naked in offices one day a week (Friday) in 2009, wanting to restore work ethic. The TBI has decided to break free from moralistic days in clothes and working straight full month March 2014 naked.

The city of San Francisco is said to be one of the most prestigious places in terms of anything connected with nudism. This does not mean that all TBI employees have been unambiguously pro. The initial majority reaction was in the spirit: "Can we ... not participate?". Another resistance has been associated with how long this situation should last (much more that many have not been in fit ;)).

Nevertheless - on March 2, 2014, TB employees came to work filled with special energy and very nervous. Undressing was hesitant - combined with funny remarks and laughter from the embarrassment of the whole situation. In the end, they were all naked.

New Password: "Relax Your Genitals - You Release Your Mind."

After an hour of initial tension, there was utter amazement. After a few days, it became quite normal and the bans were really stunning. Open-office has gained a new dimension. It helped the colleagues with a profound friendship that had penetrated every meeting. Introduced dual mode of communication: hard nipples = concentrate on the target; soft nipples = time to talk. This system has shown that creativity is at its peak when the genitalia is relaxed. (With the new slogan, "Relax your genitals - you release your mind.")

Surely it had a dark side for TBI staff. Most of them started to wear their own lunches from home, or they were ordering pizzas because they were still becoming unattractive. Finding out who needs a dermatologist when you have a team of people who are constantly watching every fetus are on a daily agenda. Undoubtedly, heating bills have also grown. Maybe they would put together a collection of hairs on the scalp of a small doll. All this was a small price for new comfort.

The head of the TBI event department contributed a memory of the dream that became her black moth. She seemed to be doing a presentation in the office, and when she looked down, she realized with horror that fully dressed.

Certainly, this experiment is a bit of a ride (and maybe someone just marks it for April's joke), but I would recommend every office to try it for at least a week.
