It seems that scientists have inadvertently backed theories about ancient astronauts. We recently wrote about a “new” scientific discovery that revealed the potential of gold atoms in the form of 2D nano film. Using only two-atom-wide gold layers, scientists have achieved "significant success."

Anunnaki and gold

This report seemed familiar to those interested in theories of ancient astronauts because their interpretation revolves around gold. According to translations of the Sumerian tables, hundreds of thousands of years ago, giant, long-lived alien explorers called the Anunnaki on Earth mine gold. Gold was an essential part of the technology by which the Anunnaki could, among other things, repair the damaged environment of their home planet. Gold mining took place in South Africa and preceded the oldest civilizations in Sumer and Mesopotamia by unbelievable thousands of years. A detailed chronological sequence of these events was presented by Zecharia Sitchin and other proponents of the theory of ancient astronauts.

Recent reports that scientists have traced the origins of all people to South Africa sound familiar to advocates of ancient astronoute theories. According to the Guardian, scientists made a surprising conclusion with the help of 1 217 samples of mitochondrial DNA of people living in South Africa.

“Scientists say they traced the ancestral homeland of all humans to the vast wetlands of much of today's Botswana, which served as an oasis in an otherwise arid region of Africa. A belt of land south of the Zambezi River, according to scientists, became homo sapiens years ago 200 000 years ago, where an isolated basic population of modern type has been maintained for 70 years X UM

According to the article, ancient people began to spread to the surrounding territories when the Earth's orbit changed. This also sounds familiar, as climate change was at the heart of Sitchin's story of what happened 200 000 years ago. According to the controversial author, life on our planet receded during the Glaciation period and spread again as the planet warmed 100 000 years later.

Adam's calendar

One ancient Stonehenge commemorating the monument discovered in 2003, which served as clear evidence of the presence of an ancient civilization in South Africa, is called "Adam's Calendar." This place is known by local African elders as "The Birthplace of the Sun." a place controversially referred to as "the oldest human building in the world."

200 000 old town in South Africa

“In Mpumalanga, South Africa, there is a stone circle about 30 meters in diameter, estimated to be about 75 000 years old. It has been identified by many astronomical phenomena and is perhaps the only example of a fully functional, more or less intact megalithic stone calendar in the world, Ancient wrote Ancient Origins.

Stone monuments

Similar stone monuments are found across the valleys and peaks of South Africa, including Botswana. Like Stonehenge, Adam's calendar contains incredibly complex and accurate measurements. According to Graham Hancock, a theorist of ancient astronauts, other ancient relics found in the area point to a connection with the later Egyptian civilization.

“The discovery of a bird statue carved from a dolerite reminiscent of a mountain, a small, 1,5 meter-long sphinx of the same material, a petroglyph of a winged disc, many engravings of Sumerian crosses in a circle and ankhu in a glowing circle indicate thousands of years before these civilizations emerged in the north, ”wrote Hancock.

The oldest mining

Further along the coast, in Mozambique Maputo, an ancient city was discovered in 2015. According to The South African newspaper, a large city built of dolomite could be 200 000 years old. Writer Michael Tellinger wrote about this city in his book: Temples of the African Gods. In its vicinity there are ancient gold mines.

"I consider myself a fairly open-minded guy, but I have to admit that it took me over a year to finish, and I realized that these were the oldest buildings ever built on Earth," said Tellinger.

Among the oldest gold mines is the mine Ngwenya in Swaziland. UNESCO has recognized this area as "one of the oldest geological formations in the world and also a place containing traces of the world's oldest mining activities." UNESCO World Heritage Center states:

“This mine is known as one of the oldest mines in the world. In 1964, charred remains were sent from this site for radiocarbon analysis, which provided the date 43 000 BC and made it the oldest known mining work on Earth. However, the mine may be even older. The ores were believed to have been mined here until around 23 000 BC The ancient mining tools found on the site were more specialized and unusually shaped compared to those from other Stone Age sites.

záver

Scientists and proponents of theories about ancient astronauts seem to have come to the same conclusion in this case. But don't expect it to happen again soon, even though who knows what will happen next? You can read more about the ancient astronauts and Adam's calendar in the book by South African writer, politician and explorer Michael Tellinger: The Secret History of the Anunnakes from our e-shop or video below. He calls it the "Enki calendar" according to the Sumerian god who stood at the beginning of the gold-digging empire.
