According to Czech Radio reports: At the age of 85, Florida's former astronaut, Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man on the Moon, died in Florida. She was told by her daughter, Kimberly Mitchell, according to AP.

The former astronaut died after a short illness on Thursday, that is, on the eve of 45. the anniversary of his landing on the moon.

Mitchell took part in Apollo 1971 as a pilot in 14 and became one of the only 12 people on the moon surface.
