There are many places on our planet that are a mystery to scientists, one of which is the Laotian Pitcher Valley in Xieng Khouang Province. In the valley, a large number of stone vessels are "thrown", the origin of which is disputed between scientists.

The valley of pitchers lies below the mountain ridge, which is on the Lao-Vietnamese border, and there are more than 60 places with vessels resembling the mortar of Baby Jaga. Some of them have stone disks on the ground, probably hatches. Archaeologists believe that the jugs were used 3 years ago by a nation whose culture we do not know.

Scientists have several versions regarding the purpose of use. According to one of them, the jugs had a ritual use, recent research confirms this hypothesis. Experts at the Australian National University have a theory of how it happened.

New research

A group of scientists led by Dougald O'Reilly discovered human remains at an age of 2 years during excavations in the Valley of the Pitchers. This led archaeologists to conclude that this place was an ancient burial ground.

Stone vessels were used to store the bodies of the dead, scientists believe. The dead were temporarily placed in jugs, and when the bodies decayed and only the bones remained, they buried them in the ground.

Although this version explains the finding of graves in the valley, it does not clarify other facts. We now know that the vessels are made of granite, calcified coral, sandstone and other rocks. However, such rocks are almost non-existent in this locality. Some pitchers weigh more than three tons and were most likely carved from a single piece of stone.

Our contemporaries tried to move containers through a helicopter, but without success. How could ancient humans, without technology, bring such stones to the valley?

Were the pots made giant?

According to Laotian legends, a giant civilization lived in these places. And they could also make jugs. It has only been raining in this region for a few months and there is a drought for the rest of the year. It is therefore possible to assume that giant people stored water in larger containers and food and wine in smaller jugs.

Similar sites with stone vessels have been discovered in Thailand and northern India. All sites are on the same line, which could mean that the seats of ancient giants were located along this line. Another interesting fact is that all three places are located on ancient trade routes

But today's science does not know anything about the giant existence on our planet. But there are a number of scientists who are in favor of this version. At different places of the Earth there are still skeletons of people far higher than we are.

In addition, there are other structures of enormous dimensions on our planet. These include Stonehenge, statues on Easter Island, pyramids and other objects. Today, we would not be able to create these ancient buildings even with the help of the most modern technology.
