Meditation can always and everywhere. If you get used to regular meditation as part of your life, you will be less in stress, you will have more energy and joy in life.

Quarter lotus

Use a cushion and sit on the front half of the cushion, bend the knees, turn them on both sides and sit in the crosstalk. Keep your left foot on the floor under your right thigh and rest your right leg against your left leg.

Full Lotus

This position is probably the first position to recall when you say the word meditation. In this position, legs are crossed so that each leg is at the top of the thigh opposite the leg.

Sit on your heels

Can not have your legs crossed? Then try sitting down - it's a good way to keep your back straight. Keep the balance in the rear so that there is no great pressure on your knees.

"Chair" position

The most comfortable position - chair position. This position makes meditation a versatile one. Ideal for a busy day at work - just adjust the body position of the chair (the head and neck are in line with the backbone, the knees should be angled with 90 °, feet on the floor) and have a few minutes meditating and nobody probably knows you're meditating.

Standing position

Some people prefer to sit, others prefer to stand. Spread across the shoulders and do not stretch your legs at the knees, but rather bend them slightly. The outer edges of the feet should be parallel. We recommend placing your hands on your stomach to feel you breathe.

Meditation lies

Meditation in bed is very comfortable, but it is at risk of falling asleep. Hold your hands along your body, keep your feet calm and keep your fingers moving where you are comfortable. You can relax and relax the tension in your body better because it is fully supported by the earth.

Seven-seat meditation position

The seven-point meditative attitude is more a set of instructions than a real meditation pose.

You can try any basic sitting position and then go through seven points and fix your position.

High rise

For the first point of posture, choose a meditative position in which you will feel comfortable. Your preferred position depends largely on your personal preferences, but your flexibility always plays a part.

Spine

The spine should be straightened as a spear to sit upright. The reason is a close connection between the body and the mind. The mind is carried by fine energies (tib, lungs), the flow of which depends on energy channels within the body. If the channel is bent or curved, the energy can not flow smoothly, and the mind may become restless. The upright position and the passageways allow energy to flow easily, and the mind naturally calms down. We keep our back straight even when we meditate on a chair. It is very important not to push back, forward or sideways.

Hands

You can put your hands on your thighs with your palms down, put them on your lap, hold them in front of you or put them in the chest - it's up to you. However, we recommend that your hands are laid down by palms down to more ground and relaxation during meditation.

Shoulders

Keep your shoulders relaxed. Push the shoulders slightly backward to open your chest and energy can be better taken directly to the heart. You will also keep your back straight.

Chin and neck

Keep your chin slightly tucked, keep your face relaxed. Ideally rotate the corners of your mouth into a light smile, it will help relieve your tension.

Jaw

Try to make a few yawns to stretch your jaw and get rid of tension.

View

People most often meditate with their eyes closed. If you want to meditate with your eyes open, focus on the floor a few meters in front of you. It is important to decide this before meditation.

záver

Now you know the basic posi- tions and it's up to you for whom you decide.
