"Before the massive flood that occurred 4 years after the birth of the world, the land of Anáhuac was occupied by giants. All giants perished in the flood or turned into fish. Only seven giants escaped into the caves. When the water dropped, one of the giants, the great Xelhua nicknamed "The Architect," traveled to Cholula, where he built an artificial hill in the shape of a pyramid. The bricks were made in the province of Tlalmanalco, located at the foot of the Sierra de Cecotl. The gods did not like Xelhu's construction of the pyramid, the highest part of which reached into the clouds. The angry gods sent fire to the pyramid. All the workers perished. Work was interrupted and the pyramid was then dedicated to Quetzalcoatl. ”

The Dominican monk wrote this note: Xelhua was a giant of the "flood time". He was one of the seven giants in Aztec culture. Before the Pyramid in Central America was completed, "the fire that caused the death of all the workers and the construction was abandoned" fell on it.

The description of the catastrophic flood that has destroyed the world can be found in almost every old culture. Great Flood was sent by God or gods on earth to destroy civilization as an act of divine harassment. This history is widespread in many myths of all kinds of cultures. Probably the most famous biblical one the story of Noah.

Although the story of Noem and flood one of the most famous, it is not the oldest story, and certainly not the only one. There are several lesser known stories, such as Matsya stories from Hindu purans or Dekalaion from Greek mythology. The oldest and "original" The description of a large flood is based on studies the story of Utnapištima of the Epiphany about Gilgamesh.

This historical fact is a clear proof of how many of the oldest cultures in the world have stories that describe the Great Flood that devastated previous civilizations on Earth. Interestingly, there is a great similarity between several myths about the flood, which has led many authors and scientists to believe that these cultures have the same origin or influence each other.

Despite the facts, there are almost three stories about the Great Flood in almost every old culture on Earth. Discussions are taking place on whether or not this event has taken place on Earth. However, scientists have evidence that thousands of years ago there was a catastrophic flood on Earth. Most scientists, however, deny that the last 6 000 would have caused a major flood that would cover a part of the planet.

It is believed that the old Sumerian plate Nippura describes the oldest story of the Great Flood and the Creation of People and Animals on Earth. There are also the names of pre-flood cities on the ground and their inhabitants. It is believed that the text of Eridus Genesis was written in the year 2 300 BC It is therefore the oldest known description of the great flood that occurred before the most popular Great Flood described in Genesis.

Many authors and scientists believe that the Sumerian rumors of the great floods have led to more popular myths about floods, such as the Bible story. If that's true, how could the story of the Great Flood come to Central America thousands of years ago?

A great flood with the eyes of the Aztecs

There are different stories of the Aztecs about the Flood, but the most famous of them all Note, the Aztec version of Noah.

When the Age of Sun arrived, 400 passed for years. Then came 200 years, then 76. Then all mankind was destroyed, drowned, or turned into fish. The water and the sky approached. One day everything was lost. But before the flood began, Titlachahuan warned the man Nota and his wife, Nena. He told them: "Do not bump agave, but set the big cypress that you will enter in the month of Tozoztli."The water was near the sky when they entered the cypress. The titanium closes and tells the men: "You do not eat more than one grain of corn, just like your wife"And when the two of them ate their corn, they prepared to leave the cypress because the water began to fall.

If we look at the Five Suns, the teachings of the Aztecs, and other nautical nations, we will find the following era of creation and destruction:

Nahui-Ocelotl (Sun Jaguar) - The country's inhabitants were giants who were killed by jaguars. The world was subsequently destroyed.
Nahui-Ehecatl (Sunshine) - The inhabitants turned into monkeys. This world was destroyed by hurricanes.
Nahui-Quiahuitl (Sunshine) - The inhabitants were destroyed by fiery rain. Only birds and inhabitants who have been converted to birds have survived.
Nahui-Atl (Water of the Sun) - The world was affected by the flood and the inhabitants turned into fish. One human couple, however, escaped and then converted into dogs.
Nahui-Ollin (The Sunshine of the Earthquake) - Now we live in this period. This world will be destroyed by earthquakes or one major earthquake.

Various versions of the story of the floods from Central America, especially the Aztecs, say that no one survived the great flood and the creature had to start from the beginning. While other stories describe how modern humans were born from a small number of survivors.
