A phenomenon called Poltergeist

What is a poltergeist?

The Poltergeist (the noisy spirit) is a sign for an entity that gives its presence the manifestation of it he moves with various objects or physically attacks his surroundings. Stories about poltergeists are full of unexplained knocking, beatings, sounds of invisible footsteps, shaking with the bed, all without a rational explanation.

Over the years, there have been many cases where a poltergeist threw various objects across the room, the furniture moved and even the people present levitated. Several noisy ghosts were also able to speak (the most famous and at the same time the worst confirmed case took place in the British Enfield).

Research

The study of poltergeist manifestations falls into the field of parapsychology. Here, a noisy spirit is defined as a kind of uncontrollable psychokinetic energy. Parapsychologist William G. Roll was also interested in this phenomenon, calling it recurrent spontaneous psychokinesis (RPSK). The occurrence of these entities dates back to antiquity (the earliest mention of their action can be considered the rain of stones in Egypt), so it is possible to say that it is a phenomenon of a permanent nature.

Who is the poltergeist about?

The poltergeist's activity focuses on one person, who is then called an agent or target. Adolescents are a common target, if not the most common. Nearly seventy years of research at the Rhine Research Center in North Carolina have led to the hypothesis that the poltergeist effect is a form of psychokinesis generated by the human mind. According to researchers, the noisy spirit is actually only an external manifestation of psychological trauma.

Poltergeist is also occultists often called elemental, ie a being representing a certain natural element.

According to another version it is about the soul of a person who died in a very disturbed state (anger, anger or sorrow). Another possibility of the origin of this phenomenon is that it is actually a kind of recorded emotion of an individual who lived in the given place where the poltergeist expresses. This recording is played repeatedly until this negative energy dissipates.

Some of the poltergeists have the ability to speak or to express in a certain way their personality, showing that they have some kind of self-consciousness. Interestingly, practical astral projections have noticed the existence of an enemy astral form of life, which they called negs (falls into the same group as elemental). If it really exists, it certainly has the ability to interfere and influence our physical world.

Scam or Reality?

Some scientists consider the poltergeist to be the mere action of static electricity, electromagnetic fields, ultrasound and infrasound, or ionized air. However, in several cases, such as the one in Rosenheim, Germany, scientists could not use any of the above explanations. In addition, the speeches themselves took place right in front of their eyes.

Another of the scientists, Josh Hutchinson, claims to have created a poltergeist in his laboratory. He tries to prove the connection between this phenomenon and ball lightning. Opinions have also emerged, calling this phenomenon a pseudo-physical phenomenon that arises from obscure physical effects.

Skeptics offer the simplest explanation: it's just a fiction. Yes, it is necessary to say that a lot of cases were fictional, people were trying to attract attention only.

They also point out that investigating parapsychologists want to believe so much in the existence of a poltergeist that they forget the rational and skeptical point of view. But how to deal with cases where all possible explanations failed?
