Hippie epoch? The 70s? Sex. Drugs. Unbridled love. Freedom. Even so, the period of the hippies of the seventies can be characterized.

An important place was Taylor Camp, which was in 1977 burned.

The camp was set on fire by government officials, they probably didn't like the fact that clothes didn't have to be worn in this camp - so it was a public nudist beach. After the camp burned down, the site was converted into a state-owned park on the Hawaiian island of Kauai.

In the best prosperity of this campsite, 120 lived here campers.

John Wehrheim, a photographer, spent much time in the camp (1971-1976 photographed portraits of local people) to capture the inhabitants of this territory. He himself claims that he has never happened to himself.

In classical civilization, we have a lot of rules, norms, orders, codifications. These people did not follow any special order of the community, so maybe that's why they did not even violate what they were to stop and what to punish.

The camp was prosperous about 7 years, women gave birth here, men played naked volleyball, veterans tried to forget at least for a while the trauma of the Vietnam War and the surfers were looking for their wave for life.
