Mimas has a diameter of about 400 km and is the 20th largest moon in the solar system. Today we know that the surface can conceal the underground ocean or the nucleus of irregular shape.

Meanwhile, Mimas mentions the anniversary: ​​10 years ago, Cassini took this picture from a distance of two million kilometers from the satellite. Researchers almost immediately noted that Mimas is incredibly similar to the "Star of Death" from the cult film "Star Wars", thanks to the huge impact crater Herschel 130 km in diameter.
