The key tasks in the future international project to create a lunar station will be performed by space agencies of the USA, the European Union and Russia, said the head of the state corporation "Roskosmos" Igor Komarov.

"NASA, ESA and Roscosmos will be most actively involved in this project," he said. At the same time, he did not refuse to talk about how the tasks on the project will be divided between the individual agencies, reports RIA Novosti. Komarov noted that a group of countries participating in the ISS is working on the project, so a really wide range of participants are invited to define the contours of the project.

"Who, to what extent and what role he will play in the project, will depend on financial, technological and other possibilities," Komarov concluded.

In April, we were notified that the European Space Agency and China were negotiating the creation of a "Lunar Village". By November, it was clear that Russia, the United States and other ISS partners were discussing the creation of two bases in lunar orbit.

China has proposed to Roscosmos participation in the Chinese Space Station project, but no specific decision has yet been made on the issue, Roshosmos leader Igor Komarov said. "They gave us a proposal, we exchange offers with each other, but they have different ideas and plans from ours. So far, we have not found specific matches and plans for the future, "says Komarov RIA Novosti.

China intends to complete the construction of the station by 2022. The project is open to cooperation, and Beijing admits that it may become international.
