Landing on the moon was certainly a challenging operation. A lot of things have been tested on simulators. Everything was recorded for later analysis. Some shots of an inexperienced eye can be confused with reality.

I personally think that people were on the moon, but the shots that NASA presented as live broadcasts are just studio recordings from simulations.
