According to reports published in the Journal of Cosmology, published in February 2014, meteor fragments were found in a rice field in the Anuradhapura district of Sri Lanka in November 2013. In this report, scientists from the Sri Lankan Institute of Nanotechnology and the Buckingham Center for Astrobiology at Buckingham University, and the Medical Research Institute in Colombo, Sir Lanka, said they found complex biological structures inside fragments of stone that do not come from our earth's surface. In other words, these scientists say they found extraterrestrial life.

Earlier this month (Oct. 2014) Professor Milton Wainwright (Buckingham Center of Astrobiology) shared the pictures of something he himself called Dragon particles. Professor Wainwright and his colleagues believe that Dragon particles is a biological entity in the universe. Particles gained by launching a reconnaissance balloon that fled to the stratosphere.

In addition to these two cases, scientists from the Buckingham Center of Astrobiology have already made several statements in recent years about the discovery of the microorganisms they believe to have come from space.

Members of this scientific group are adherents to the theory of panspermia. It assumes that life in the universe is abundant and spreads through asteroids and meteorites. Their opponents are convinced that the micro-organisms found are the result of contamination from Earth.
