The holidays can be a wonderful time, especially for women. They often have a desire to close everything and start a new life chapter. A chapter full of new opportunities. Some of us long for new work projects, for getting to know new places, others are looking for new love. Now I'm going to share with you 5 practices that can help you get closer to your dreams, and not just during the holidays.

Ritual #1 – Morning Ritual

The way we spend the first minutes of the morning affects the setting of the whole day. Stand up and take a moment for yourself. Treat yourself to a few minutes of meditation, prepare a healthy breakfast and don't forget to drink plenty of clean water. When you automate this morning ritual, it becomes a part of you and sets you up for the new day.

Ritual #2 – Automated Writing

Invite your spiritual self to co-create reality. Try to think about your life and the questions that interest you. Play some pleasant music and try to meditate for a while. After meditation, I recommend taking a pad of paper and asking yourself a few questions that have a deeper meaning for you - write the answer without thinking, instinctively.

Questions can be, for example:

  • What am I afraid of?
  • Who do I want to forgive?
  • What will make me freer?
  • What's bothering me?

The answers will probably surprise you, but they will definitely make sense when you explore them later. Your subconscious will answer you, which is otherwise very difficult to reach.

Ritual #3 – Goals

Don't be afraid to write down your goals on paper, for example draw a mind map. Set long-term goals, as well as short-term ones. And each day, write down what you will do that day to get closer to your goals. Small steps are enough, but don't forget to move forward.

When you can check off every day in the evening review that you have done everything to get closer to your goal, you will feel freer, freer and more excited.

Ritual #4 – Practice breathing

Many things and situations can throw us off balance during the day. Unexpected news, a traffic jam, an argument at work or at home with a loved one - at that moment, being able to use the breath as a way to return to calm is priceless.

If you feel overwhelmed (and if the environment allows it), close your eyes for a moment, take a few deep breaths and exhale. Focus your attention on your body, on your breath right now and here. If you feel anger or anxiety, acknowledge them, don't fight them. Just watch them. And with each exhalation, observe how the accumulated energy leaves you.

Now move your attention to the heart area and imagine that you are breathing directly in and out of your heart. As you breathe, imagine that you are breathing in a state of joy. As you exhale, you can continue to release anything you don't like.

Ask yourself, “What color would most help me return to a space of joy and peace right now?” Let that color intuitively fill your body and flow into the space around your body.

And then slowly open your eyes and notice if there is a shift in your inner state of being.

Ritual #5 - Spread love and enthusiasm

There are so many aspects of life that you can truly love, why not show it openly? Find a moment in your day to express your sincere enthusiasm for life, write or call your loved ones and let them know how much you care about them. The more love we give, the more love we will receive.

Do at least one small thing for someone else every day, show support for abandoned animals (love is not just about people!), hug a tree, stroke the water in a stream, let the feeling permeate your whole body.
