Emotions come from the Latin word emovere. It means it's moving with you. In Czech, a motive that forces you to move.

And there is a big difference between how feeling you feel and how the feeling you are manifesting. That is a big difference.

We are trained in such a stupid civilization that combined feeling and reaction and did not separate them from each other. This makes us prisoners of emotions.

  • Then it is considered natural to cry at the funeral. Which is not natural at all in some civilizations, because they have it differently there.
  • It is considered natural that someone is sad because they have heard the sad news.
  • We consider it natural that people draw us into their emotional dramas.

The inner exercise is that you choose your reaction. It's not that you don't feel it. You are only aware of the feeling and consciously choose the way you react.
