[lastupdate] A genetic disk was found in Colombia (America). The disc is made of lydite, a very hard stone. The expected age is estimated at a minimum of 6000 BC.

Researchers believe that the disc shows the various stages of development of the baby's embryo in the mother's womb, from sperm to newborn. At the beginning is also a depiction of a man and a woman with their genitals.

It should be noted that machining lydite in a form such as a disk would be challenging even today using CNC machines. The stone is very hard. The disc looks as if it has been cast or bribed from clay and then burned. Even the very concept of the shape of a disk with a hole in the middle is very specific.

The disc is 22 centimeters in diameter and weighs approximately 2 kg. Its discoverer is Jaime Gutierrez-Lega. The disk is currently housed in the Museum of Natural Sciences in Vienna (Austria).

Gutierrez said: "Years ago, a certain guaquero, a treasure hunter, appeared to me and offered me to buy this disc. The man assured me that the object did not come from the grave, but was found during construction work on the outskirts of Bogota. "
