Mars: Apple has already bloomed

Lush vegetation was observed on the surface of the Red Planet. Images sent by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, which is equipped with a HiRISE high-resolution camera, were shocked. It seems that trees are planted between the sand dunes - certainly not apple trees, which have long promised us, but something branched, sprawling and bushy. Virtual botanists have no doubt that the photographs show Martian vegetation, and if it is not a forest, then it is clusters of huge lichens or fungi.

The main reason for this assumption is for enthusiasts the restoration of vegetation, which is going to take place, as it should be, at the beginning of the Martian spring. At the same time, liquid water appears on Mars - if we believe recent discoveries.

NASA experts know about the phenomenon that their less serious colleagues are dealing with. But they do not call these objects plants, but hair or hair.

They theorize that "hair" is really forming on Mars. Their growth really starts in the spring, but they have nothing to do with wildlife. According to them, "hair" is, in fact, drawn on the Martian dunes, by dust.

Their appearance on the surface is caused by an increase in temperature and subsequent evaporation of carbon dioxide, which passes into the gaseous state.

Living and believing them is wonderful,
there are a lot of extraordinary trips ahead of us.
The cosmonauts and dreamers,
that Mars will bloom on one apple tree.

(Author: Jevgenij Dolmatovskij, a translation from the song "Apple will Bloom on Mars" from the science fiction film "Dreaming" from 1963)

The streams of gas that break through the ice layer pull the dust and spread it to the sides. It then creates these unusual structures, similar to trees, shrubs or trsters of fur.

Logic suggests the truth will probably have serious scientists with their carbon dioxide hypothesis. But the presumptions of virtual botanists are far more interesting. Besides, the so-called dust, looks suspicious. Obviously, we will find out the truth right here.

Sueneé: This story is old more than 14 years, but still up to date. NASA even helped with the hair hypothesis. But it does not make clear why we see the shadows in the photos. That it would be trees and shrubs?
