Archaeologists found thousands of stones in stone in Mexico. These are covered etched drawings from our ancestors sometime from 6000 BC. Engravings, known as petroglyphs, usually form patterns in the shape of concentric circles and wavy lines. Sometimes there is a symbol between them depicting a fish.

Scientists believe that these drawings originated as part of the initiation rituals before the hunt began, or it may have been a representation of the stars.

Fish and sun symbols, as well as intricate patterns of concentric circles and lines drawn by our ancestors, have been found engraved in stones in the distant mountains of Mexico. Archaeologists believe that these drawings were created by our ancestral collectors - hunters more than 6000 years ago. In addition to the already mentioned circles, deer tracks also appear on the scenes.

About 8000 drawings were discovered and recorded in the area of Narigua, towards Northern Mexico. More than 500 decorated stones were found in this area. The area covers an area with a radius of more than 3,2 km and is one of the most important in terms of petroglyphs (petrograbados?) In the Mexican state of Coahuila. These stones can give scientists guidance on how intelligent people in this area lived in the Stone Age and how they used stones as tools.

Petroglyphs are found throughout the area in various parts of the mountains. Most of it is located in the southern part of the mountains, but others were also found at the northern foot. Gerardo Rivas, an archaeologist at the National Institute of Archeology and History (INAH), said this was evidence that Stone Age tribes lived here. He said that most of the tribes lived in makeshift settlements and that archaeologists found stoves, cooking pots and even something resembling arrowheads. There are indications that the tribes were making tools to survive. They lived in huts made of natural materials. Some were probably portable. At least that's what the Spanish publication Mmorelia says.

Archaeologists have found evidence of the existence of two camps in two valleys, which are separated by a small ridge. The larger camp is located near the Sierra de Narigua, where there is a larger group of described stones. Gerardo Rivas said that the characteristics of the drawings depend on where they are. The stones found in the Narigua Sierra area have drawings of thick dots, concentric circles, ripples and jagged waves. The stones depicting deer tracks have been found elsewhere.

Archaeologists have also found relatively modern sculptures of crosses, which were probably created sometime in the 16th century AD.

An archaeological study was launched in August 2012 and the Institute (INAH) plans to allow tourists to visit the place. It is an area located less than 100 km from the city Monterrey.
