Robert Bauval: Personal Evictions from the Worshiped Scientists

31. 08. 2023
6th international conference of exopolitics, history and spirituality

On 25.07.2015, I was invited to take a lecture at the American University in Beirut (AUB). The theme of the lecture was mine Orion correlation theory (OCT) and presented to a large audience that was very happy in the final.

Present:
One of the leaders of the Department of History and Archeology, Dr. Hermann Genz could not forgive the remark at my address by email sent to all my other colleagues. Quote:

Dear, I also visited the event below (RB lecture), I must say that it was very embarrassing. Since when does the AUB provide a platform for the presentation of conspiracy enthusiasts? Which does not have the academic reputation that we have to preserve? For the next time I really suggest that the department should consult the matter.
Many greetings, Hermann Genz

Responses from scientists who are opening and supporting the OCTs:

I really do not understand the reason for this hostile reaction to OCT. In my opinion, no one can claim the right to say that something is true or not with absolute certainty. In this case, as in many others, no one can act as the only source of truth!

The author of the reaction is an Italian professor of physics and astronomy from the Astrobiology Laboratory at Buckingham University. I do not mention the name, as the comment was made internally in private correspondence.

Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe of the same institution also responded to what he himself called regressive behavior from AUB.

Sueneé: I present the article mainly to show how difficult it is even today to present new ideas with absolute seriousness.
